Pas mal mais le filtre est trop loin du fond et oblige à mettre beaucoup trop d’eau pour une tasse. Sinon rien d’autre à dire.

Don't keep the liquid hot for long periods

I like to make a 4 cup pot (by measure on my coffee maker pot) actually measures about 16-18 ozs. But I pour a half cup to sip on and continually able to warm my cup by adding to it as I read the morning news. This will keep coffee hot enough in this carafe for about 30-40 minutes at most, but I dislike leaving the pot on the warming plate of the maker. It seems to burn the coffee rather than hold it warm. So this has been a good solution to my desire to constantly have a hotter than luke-warm cup going for my morning brew.

So I know it seems some folks had problems with that leaking or not keeping beverages hot, I did not have that problem. For the first time I had a carafe that kept my coffee hot for about an hour and a half my old Service Ideas carafe didn't do that, it barely lasted a half an hour. And mine doesn't leak, yet. If it does leave I'll come back and add to my review. Otherwise hooray for hotness!Update... Soon on coffee making a ability. So a few days after I received the carafe, I tried brewing coffee. I used one rounded tablespoon for four six ounce cups. First tried steeping for 5 minutes and kept resetting the timer up to 30 minutes. It was still two week for my liking. So next time I'll try my regular measurement which is two tablespoons for 6 oz of water and see what happens. Tata for now.Update: so I did try my regular measurement for 6 oz of water and it did not work either. I don't think I'll try again but the coarse ground I did it with my regular medium grind and it didn't work well. So for tea I think it would be great for coffee not so much. That's it for now Tata.

I needed the flask for loose leaf tea. It's a good personal size, but serves 2 people perfectly. Just what I needed.

It works very well for keeping a small pot of tea hot so I don’t have to keep making a new cup. The infuser is a nice idea, especially for tisanes where you don’t care how long it steeps.NOTE, the lid/spout mechanism works well, but the heat of the liquid causes a vacuum or something (I will leave the explanation for someone who actually studied physics) that prevents pouring at first. The solution is simply to loosen the lid until you hear the seal give, it’s very noticeable. Then tighten the lid again and it will pour perfectly.

Please do not waste your money unless you enjoy drinking filth. I purchased this to make tea that would stay hot at my desk. It did exactly that. It was leak proof and easy to use. However, there is a vent hole in the bottom of the lid that the liquid inside travels into every time you pour. This vent is narrow and deep and impossible to clean. As much as I tried to clean and as many times as I rinsed it out, there was still gross residue and mildew under the lid. A brown, chunky, gross goo from tea residue.A second design flaw does the same at the lip of the jug. The ceramic sits just under the lid. The lid curves around the top with enough of a gap that liquid gets stuck in there. Turn the pot upside down and think you have all the liquid out. But when you turn it right-side-up again the liquid that seeped under the lip runs back down into the pot. A couple teaspoons worth. Again, this is impossible to clean as nothing will fit inside that lip but liquid and air.Very disappointed and too late to return it. I've included a pic of a cup of hot water I poured from the jug. You can see the larger floaties but trust me, there are hundreds of things floating in that water. Just gross.

Mi piace avere scorte di caffè freddo da assumere quando voglio. Forse caraffa un po' grandicella per l'utilizzo che ne faccio, ma mi piace molto il design. È carina e giusta per me

No instructions came with it . The top part cannot be disassembled therefore can only be cleaned by soaking in soapy water. It keeps beverages hot but isn't user friendly . On the plus side the ceramic liner doesn't " taint" the beverage with a metallic taste.

Its a basic thermal potThere is a strainer attached, you have to put the tea in, screw to the pot lid so that it sits in the water, which can be a bit of a fiddle, but it does keep the drink hot and warm

I wanted an inexpensive carafe because I was tired of my second cup of coffee being cold (I was doing pour over into a glass pot). I noticed a review that said it leaked, but not many other people complained about that so I went for it.It’s great! It keeps my coffee warm, makes great tea, and it isn’t too big. I did notice after a month or so of use that it subtly leaks around the seam on the outside (I’m also at 8,000ft, so I’m sure the altitude doesn’t help). It’s not like it pours out everywhere so you can live with it- but it definitely seeps so you’ll notice drip streaks on the outside. The embossed logo on the inside makes it a little harder to clean, the lip on the inside seems to make it so you can’t get the last of the liquid out without taking the top off- and I think there is liquid getting into the cap, but I haven’t messed around to see if it’s in there forever- or if I can take it apart.Overall it’s a cheap buy, but it does the trick. Next time I’ll look for something a little more durable & long lasting but this’ll work for now.

I ordered this teapot so that I could steep my tea and keep my second cup hot in the same vessel. It is perfect except for a few things. First, as other reviews mention, the lip does tend to hold water. That problem is easily fixed by shaking it violently after washing and then setting it to air dry if you don’t want to towel-dry it. Second, there is a space in the top that also holds water if you are not aware of it and do not place it with the opening down so that it drains while it is drying. Third, unless you want your tea stewed instead of steeped, you must find a way to remove the (boiling hot) tea basket from where it is screwed into the top once your steeping time is up. I unscrew it with a pair of tongs. It is a little crazy, but I still love this teapot because it is just the right size and my second cup of tea is as hot and delicious as my first, even hours later.
