I wanted to like the plate. It was a good size. It had good suction. The food reservoirs were really too shallow, but I was willing to look past that. It says it’s dishwasher safe so I tried it once. Nope. There’s a coating that’s bubbled up now. Only wash this plate by hand even if it says it’s okay to use the dishwasher.

It is not wood it is a silicone plate painted as wood false advertising !!! Very disappointed

I like the size of this plate and the inside sections. The suction could be better, but no toddler suction plate is perfect so it makes do. It is easy to clean, and I appreciate that the suction ring comes apart from the plate for thorough cleaning.

The PandaEar Bamboo Suction Plate/Spoon is a great basic plate set for my little one.Pros:- The suction piece on the plate works well on our high chair and our baby has yet to knock it off when in use- Made of safer materials (bamboo and silicone) rather than plastic which is reassuring in the era of PFAS and microplastics- Good size plate that holds meals wellOther stray thoughts:- The spoon is a bit big for my 10 month old, but will likely be good as he approaches more toddlerhood

There must be some sort of seal on this bc after a few weeks it is flaking off and I don’t want my child ingesting whatever it is.
