This is great paper for younger kiddo’s trying to learn how to wire their letters. It has the exaggerated dotted line to help keep them under it for lower case letters or above for upper case. I highly recommend! It comes with many pages so no need to be concerned for conserving paper or space. As a teacher it is lower in cost and absolutely needed for better performance.

My son was struggling with his handwriting. We switched to this paper for his writing and notes and have seen a dramatic change. The wide lines really help him. The paper is thinner than normal lined paper and is probably a little closer to newsprint. It doesn’t hold up well to aggressive erasing but otherwise holds up well.

This paper is perfect for helping the grandkids practice their writing skills. This is a huge package, but will definitely be put to good use. I got a bit tired of drawing my own dotted mid lines to help them with their spelling & vocabulary words! For my grandson who is on the Autism Spectrum, this works out great for when he has a story or presentation because he will dictate what he wants to report and I will write it properly on this paper so that he can see how it is supposed to be written. I also have the kids use this paper to make lists (like Christmas wish lists!)...the more practice, the better! The paper itself is a bit thin, but not as thin as newsprint. I wish it were just a tad bit thicker, like copier paper, but it still gets the job done!

Cursive writing is no longer taught at my granddaughter’s school. Having taught second grade for about twenty years where cursive writing was an important part of the curriculum, I am very unhappy about her not learning it in school. Because I understand the importance of cursive writing, I am teaching her how to write at home. I bought copies of second and third grade Zaner Blouser books and this paper for extra practice. I like the spacing of the lines and that they are in color. I will be buying it again.

For a 2nd grader who needs help with handwriting, this paper pack does the trick. The colored lines really help and if he does make a mistake, the paper is forgiving and allows erasing. We use it for spelling practice sheets.

This is a great, basic pack of paper! The paper is thinner than paper you would find in a handwriting notebook, but the price is MUCH better, and there is no waste! My kids always seem to flip through and end up wasting half of a notebook! When notebooks cost $4 and up, that can be a lot of waste! With this paper, I can give my children a piece of paper for their assignments, and none goes to waste. This paper will last a long time, but I will definitely buy it again!

If your wondering which paper to buy let me give a hint here. I am a K teacher and bought this my second time around. I have found that it works much better for my advanced K students. the 1 1/8 is just to big, this offers line managment and easier transition to regular notebook paper plus 500 for this price when was the last time you bought a K tablet at walmart you get 20 sheets for 3.00 so you may as well do just like I did order it here for 6.00 a pack and put enough in your cart to qualify for free shipping and be done for the rest of the year. I had to buy 12 but only because as soon as the other teachers saw how easy it made my class they all wanted to buy a package so I had to restock. Let me also say if your a K teacher you know how they are about their paper when they tear it out one little rip the whole world just came to an end. ENOUGH said this teacher HIGHLY suggest this paper for K-2 ...I even use it with some 4th graders that I tutor because somewhere in the vastness of education they decided we can't teach handwriting past second grade and most of these kids writing is so bad that I can't read it. Some of the older grades I think even need the 1 1/8 because they .....again....enough said buy the paper it will save you many headaches down the road. I walk around the classroom with a ruler and lay it on the lines and take an eraser and anything above it or below it gets earased and they know that means a redo....get a big eraser while your here on amazon. IT WORKS though my babies have really gotten great handwriting from this method. Just because they are K does not mean they can't learn big...expect it and they will give it.

This works great for my 1st grader who is learning D'Nealian in school and who needs a little more help than a simple wide-ruled sheet provides. We use it for spelling homework. This paper is the same dimensions as a regular sheet of notebook paper and is also about the same weight. It's not the newsprint that tends to tear if you erase on it. I would like it even more if it came hole punched and with some margin guidelines about an inch in on the sides; I end up adding those myself. There is a blank border on the top, otherwise the lines are uniform the whole way down the page. Good, quality, economical purchase--500 sheets will last through the younger siblings too.
