Save your money if purchasing for ring doorbell. Both blew up when connected yet said it was exactly what was needed to hardwire Ring doorbell. What a waste of money!

The headline says it all. Fits in my homemade power supply perfectly and two amps at regulated 12 VDC is all I need. For ruggedness and forgiveness, an old fashioned iron transformer can't be beat.

This is actually a 1.5A transformer, not the 2A advertised.

Used this to replace the original transformer in a 20W halogen desk lamp. It does what transformers are supposed to do and runs cooler that the unit it replaced. Reasonably well constructed. Arrived in good condition. Seems to be a good value for the price.
