I bought these boots for a trip to Ireland. They were true to size and I wore them a little bit beforehand to kind of break them in. I walked 30 miles in these boots over creeks and sheep fields and they were perfect! I highly recommend these shoes for the great outdoors!

I was worried I would have trouble getting my foot in them, even bought a shoe heel. I don’t even need it! I can slip them on and off. They are comfy as well!!

I got these for a Vine product review because I liked that they seem to have a good tread and just need to be pulled on.They are very well made and good quality. They fit well; I wear a size 8 and they wouldn't fit very well with thick socks but regular socks they are very good. They are a bit hard to get on but I think over time, as the elastic loosens, they will be easier to put on. Either way, better a tight elastic than too lose your feet come out of them.I do not have issues with them being lose around the ankles. Then again I do not have skinny stick legs either so that may account for that. I will add that I would not wear these hiking. For that I'd rather have proper hiking shoes that tie and are well fitted and provide good stability and support.I am giving them 4 stars because $45.99 seems very expensive to me for a simple pair of slip on boots that you still have to treat so they do not get ruined when wet.Recommend as a fashion shoe ...when on sale!

Already had the opportunity, unfortunately to wear these. Although it was very fortunate to have these handy. Waterproof made for great wear and it's nice to be able to keep those feet warm and dry. Nice for gift idea as well.

Check out these hiking boots. I haven’t seen many that look stylish and just slip on. Usually, it takes quite a few minutes to lace up my Timberlands. I got a half-size bigger because I like to wear them with thick socks. I thought they would look good paired with blue jeans, and I didn’t have to worry about them getting wet. Usually, I spray my boots with Scotch Guard, and although these say they are waterproof, an extra layer of protection won't hurt. The boot feels like a soft suede and slips on easily. I do not like the big pull-on tabs on the back and front sticking out as much as they do, and I tried to tuck them in, but they wouldn’t stay put. I walked around in these for quite a while, and they are not snug around my ankles like my other hikers. I don’t like the way they hit the front of my leg with every step but they are comfortably wide and only mildly stiff. I prefer a high-top boot, especially if I am walking trails, camping, or fishing. These Chelsea Hiking Boots have a nice innersole and the bottom has deep grooves with a casual look. I got the camel-colored style, I do not like the deep contrast between the elastic and the boot color. This will be covered with blue jeans so I guess that won't matter. I think I will reserve wearing these with jeans for a casual look for a day out because of their sleek and modern style. But I will stick to my Timberlands for my more hardcore hikes, where ankle support is important.

ok these are nice looking boots on me and they have very comfy soles, BUT. they are not comfy to walk in at all. i know boots need to be broken in as i have many many pairs of boots, but these have a severe stiffness in the front and back that dig into my leg with every step. ive been trying to work them and soften them but so far its still painful to walk. theres too much gap in the leg or something. i really like the color and they way they look but i cant wear them without wincing when i walk. if they ever get softer i will come back and update with a better review, but for now, i am disappointed.
