I am unsure if having retractable ceiling light fan wired with wall switch is the culprit, but this only lasted a year with partial use. These are suppose to run for 50k hours. I wonder if myy actual ceiling fan is defective. I want to be fair about this review; could be defective retrractabble ceiling fan, being that it is wired to wall switch as well as use of remote? Anyway, It was nice and bright when it worked.

Provides good lighting for security. But soldering the wire to the plate was very difficult, not much area to solder.

De incio al abrirla, se ve no tan de buena calidad, al menos en el material de plástico, pero al instalarla, funcionó como esperaba. Al encenderla como que no alumbra mucho, pero despues de 5 minutos empieza a alumbrar mejor. Es buen producto, espero que no se descomponga pronto

The light is not super bright thought it would be and it a yellow color and my two other lights are white white

This is a preliminary result. I tested the LED at lower voltage and with pulsed bias to avoid heating At 9V the current is 100mA therefore eating only 0.9W. Temporary bias at 11V allowed passing a larger current in line with the posted power by seller (3W). It is really bright. Therefore I believe that the first poor review is due to user's incompetence and more likely he using a driver with current limitation (he reported low emission at 10V, while I got bright emission at 9V). Unfortunately, too many people do not know what they a doing and blame on poor Chinese product quality. This review does not cover the product reliability. Will append the review after biasing, heatsinking the product the correct way and having it under bias to at least 100hours (standard is1,000 hours)
