Bought this & never used it until warranty had expired. Used on my ole pickup with 160,000 miles on it. It read an average of 180lbs. I thought that can't be right & used my old tester which read an average of 150lbs. I thought since it is obviously new they might make a warranty exception. I sent a picture of it to show it in new condition. All I got was a run around & they tried to pass the buck to Amazon. These are NOT cheap & I expect more. Most reputable companies would have made an exception & replaced it

In 3 years, I've had 2 of these compression testers fail to go back to Zero. The first one, last 22 months. It only has a 12 month warranty, so I simply bought another one. Well, this one did the exact same thing early Oct of 2020. I purchased the second one August 9 of 2019. I sent OTC an email on October 11 and it took them 10 days to reply, quoting the warranty policy of "12 months". I called and spoke to someone is support and stated my case. Her reply was a sarcastic "well, if the warranty is up...it's up". Won't be buying an OTC product again.

Good : Compression tester works fine, I like the case, tested on Yamaha FJR 1300 and Honda 750 Nighthawk accurate results.Bad : Product is advertised as having 10mm,12mm and 14mm adapters , but I received 10mm, and two 12mm adapters. ???Not happy about discrepancy between advertised and actual product received, poor quality control on someones part.

The kit that was received advertises that it has an M14, 14mm diameter, spark plug hose. Upon delivery the kit was complete and even had a metal stamped hose advertising the M14 connector, however upon inspection it is actually an M12, 12mm diameter spark plug hose that was mislabeled. The kit comes with two M12 hoses. It would be naive to think that only one part was manufactured this way.
