I bought this to use instead of the stock shock mount for the Avantone CV-12. The CV-12 juuuust barely fits in it, but it does fit. And I can get enough tension to hold it steady without it breaking loose or sagging. All in all, this is a good substitute for the stock shock mount, since I can't stand the thumbscrews on the original. The spring tension clamp on this is so much easier to engage and disengage, and I don't have any doubts that it has a secure hold on my microphone.Build quality is just OK, and I don't expect this to be a "forever" mount. But for now, it's working great.

Had this for about a year now and it still holds my Bluebird mic in place without any issues. Good cheap replacement!

Like many cheap shockmounts, the tightening pin on this snapped only after a few setup/breakdown cycles. Cheap/thin/junky tightening pin. It is now in my trash. NEXT.

This shock mount is amazing. My old one broke for my large diaphragm condensor microphone (Behringer C-3), and I thought I was going to have to get a whole new microphone. Luckily, I found this thing. It saved me, and it works well.

The product has an inherent flaw. The screw to tighten the knob becomes loose after a very short while. This keeps making the mike go flip flop - more dangerous for a sensitive mike like a Neumann that I use. Unfortunately Neumann's original shock mounts are very expensive and the TLM 102 does not come with a shock mount.

I thought to buy something for like $70, but this does it's job really good. If you don't have a real studio, clients and you have only 1 mic, you will be happy with that

The dimensions listed are a bit of a stretch. I have an MXL V67G and it BARELY fits into this shock mount. I have to put all of my strength on the levers to get the mic. into the shock mount. Also, the fur/lining in the picture on the inside of the shock mount is not what it comes with. This comes with a thin black foam/rubber strip. I was going to rip out the fur and put in my own rubber strip so I could make the diameter a bit wider, but the dimensions listed for this shock mount are with the rubber it comes with, not the random fur that's shown in the photo.Overall it feels very durable. I believe it's all metal (most cheap models have plastic here and there to save on cost but this one doesn't unless I'm missing something). The tightening "wing-nut" also seems to be durable and doesn't need to be tightened too much to hold up my mic.It comes with a replacement band which is a plus (no having to use hair ties..right away at least..lol)Again the only problem I have is that this is extremely snug on my mic, but other than that I love it. It looks and feels like a high price mount but has a cheap price tag. I recommend this to anyone in need of a shock mount.

I use this with an MXL v67 (47 mm diameter) and it fits fine and works great. Probably wouldn't want to use this with a mic much bigger than 48mm, as the description says, because it takes some strength to pull the clip apart.
