No problem assembling this eaven in beach wind. The pegs are Not suited to dand but made do. Would recommend heavier duty, longer pegs. All in all it held up and was a nice little tent for the kids at the beach.I did have to put it against my truck on the windiest day. Also used bungees on it but like I said it held up fine.

We bought this for a family of 5 Beach trip. Easy 1 person set up, easy to fill the bags with sand and plenty of space. We had 2 beach chairs and 1 towel on the ground with plenty of space. The piece on the ground was a great place for the full sun bathers. Highly recommend

This tent is so easy to set up. It’s large and durable. It comes with a strap to carry for the light weight transportation. It’s easy to collapse once you figure out how to do it. Wrapping the long grey bottom of the tent around the arms to get it back in the bag helps keep everything together. Great for family beach trips.

We purchased this to replace our Sunbrella XL that finally broke after 9 beach seasons. The positives ++Light weight, compact+Easy to set up+Ample room for two adults and two teenagers and medium cooler and beach bagThe negatives -- Material isn't as thick as the Sunbrella, can really feel the sun beat through- Take down isn't as easy as the set up- doubt we'll get 9 years out of this, maybe 4 or 5 if lucky...3 probably more realistic

It was big enough for all 4 of us and we put air mattress inside. Great day at the beach. It withstood the wind and was easy to set up.

First time “testing it out” before bringing it on a beach trip. I’m following the directions for setting it up. A spring pops up pushing a leg into the fabric and rips a hole straight through it. Took me 10 mins just to get the leg out of the hole so I can try to repair it with duct tape. 20 mins into setting this thing up and duct taping it back together I finally come to the conclusion that if I’m having this much trouble at home with no wind, it’s not going to stand a chance at the beach. The saddest thing is I have years of experience and several tents that are similar to this quick pop up design and I’ve never had a single problem with any of them. This tent is an example of a great idea but poor execution of the idea. The material the tent is a little bit thinner than a dryer sheet. It’s just way too thin to be practical in its intended environment, THE BEACH! The sun, sand, and salt would weaken it even more and the wind would rip it to shreds. I actually even noticed small holes in it where it wasn’t stressed at all.Had they used the same thickness denier silnylon or rip stop like every other sub-$100 Walmart tent ever made, it probably would have worked. But they went cheap to save production cost. I obviously returned it.
