Was my daughter's first time doing latch hook and this was the perfect design for her to learn on. She loves it!

Product came right away. Disappointed that the canvas is short 3 lines vertically and 2 lines horizontally. Design won't be centered. Debating on just returning it and switch to a different company. Don't recommend especially if you wish to have a centered design.

I’ve never done a latch hook before and this was easy to do! Instructions it comes with were clear and easy to follow. It comes with plenty of extra yarn so don’t have to worry if you lose one piece. Not all the yarn pieces were the exact same length so can look a little uneven but very easy to trim at the end to make it look nicer. Great set for beginners!

My mom does TONS of latch hook kits and has filled my brother's old bedroom with totes and piles of completed rugs, pillows, and wall hangings. The hooking helps her hands keep from losing dexterity and movement and is her physical therapy and she finds it to be relaxing. I grab her whatever kits I can. This is a quick and easy kit that will probably take her two hours.I like that the last corner of the finished edge is tucked in and properly stitched. Lots of kits have hastily finished edges that will easily fall apart.The hook is cheap and flimsy, but it is the standard hook that comes with all kits now. I haven't seen a wooden hook come with a kit in almost a decade now. The yarn is standard length and all cut the same size. The grid is easy to read and the canvas is printed with the design, not a grid.

I haven't done latch hook in forever so I got this to make a little pillow for my dog. It probably took me about two weeks to complete doing just a bit a day before bed. Some of the threads were a bit longer than the others, which looks untidy when finished, but it was easy enough to trim them off level with the rest.I did quite like that the edges were finished so the canvas mesh wasn't trying to unravel or catch on things as you worked. It is also generous with the yarn, as I have a reasonable amount left from each color. I like it when kits give a bit extra because you never know when something will happen and some will get damaged or lost, especially when you're talking about little snips of thread that are easily mistaken for trash by someone trying to be helpful.My only issue was that the latch hook provided seems rather flimsy. I ended up using a different one that was more robust just because I kept feeling like I was going to break it.

It’s taking me sometime to get through it but I’m making progress and I’m loving every minute of it I love these little things. I get lost in them for hours lol
