Bought these for a vacation in the Rockies. Didn’t want to spend a lot. These were great on a muddy trail. Daughter even stepped in the lak and kept her feet dry. Not too stiff a sole but offered support on a rocky, rooty trail. Can’t speak to durability… I tire them to a backpack for a quick minute and accidentally dropped them…. Then someone stole them. So clearly looked good enough to steal

These Childrens boots seem to be of high quality. The rubber sole is very durable and has good traction while hiking. This is my son’s first pair of hiking boots and he is excited about how comfortable they are. He is so pleased that they have now become his daily wear shoes.

We do a lot of hiking as a family & our boys didn't have real hiking boots. These fit great & we've put countless hours on them. They've held up really well & I haven't heard any complaints about comfort.

This are perfect for the fall muddy weather, myvson has enjoyed them , handy for field trips.Theyvhave good cushioning and the sole has been holding good after rough use.

I bought this in little kids size 8 for my 3 year old daughter. She started hiking on her own this last year as I now have to carry her 1 year old sister. She has hiked up to 4 miles with 600+ feet of elevation gain in them. These are great shoes. She wears good wool socks (smartwool is awesome!) with them and hasn’t ever complained of her feet hurting. I don’t think they are completely waterproof as her socks were a little wet on our last hike after stomping through some steams but I can’t be sure that wasn’t also from “swishing” the boots off at the end of the hike in the river after having to Ford a mudslide. The one complaint I have is the ankle strap which is not long/strong enough. It comes undone regularly and my daughter does not have large legs. I’ve been thinking about doing what another reviewer did and cutting off the strap to replace with laces.Overall a great hiking shoe and I will probably be buying again soon in a larger size when my daughter outgrows these ones.

My eight-year-old son wore them when we went on a six hour hike. They were perfect! he was very comfortable and not once did he complain. They were waterproof as we did walk through a couple shallow streams and his feet were completely dry and warm. It was about 40° outside and He was all good. Perfect shoes if you are a outdoor family
