With two bottoms, this springform pan provides two options for a cook: bake a cake, torte, or cheesecake on the standard waffle-patterned bottom for a flat-topped confection; or use the other bottom and bake a cake, torte, or cheesecake with a hollow center and molded flutings on the top. The pan holds 10 cups of batter, enough to make a festive cake for 8 to 10 people. Made of aluminized steel for rust and warp resistance, it's a sturdy pan with a long life expectancy. I have used it only once so far to bake a sponge cake, and am very pleased with its performance. That it has the additional insert for other types of cakes makes it a very good choice. The form is substantial, not flimsy like cheaper versions, and handles/cleans well.

My last bundt cake was tasty but a broken disaster. With my old “non-stick” pan. I had a difficult time detaching the cake from the pan. It fell out in pieces. With the Nordic springform pan, the beautiful cake came out of the pan very easily and quickly. I highly recommend this pan for bundt cake bakers.

It's not the tightest fit in the world; it's fine with a cheesecake crust, which is solid enough to help keep the batter above it in, but it drips just a little without that. With a baking sheet under it it's fine.

Haven't used it yet but the quality looks really quite nice, and a cool idea to have both pans in one. Nordic ware is usually a pretty stand up brand so don't anticipate any issues.

I bought three of these to give to my three girls at Christmas time. They've been borrowing my old one mostly to make cheesecake. The pans all look great! Just what I wanted, but will not be using them for a bit. I'm hoping the girls will come up with some new recipes to use these pans for.

I am so happy I purchased this item. I was looking for a set of bakeware that had a spring form pan & bundt cake pan along with others, but I wanted the set to at least have these two. I was going to purchase the set that came with these two as well as some other plans, but decided not to and came across this item. I have use both I made an icebox cake, and with the Bundy mold I made a gelatin dessert. Neither of them leaked on me. I have yet to bake, but I am sooooo happy with my purchase. It's a great quality & easy to clean product! 👌

The one star rating isn't because the pan is poorly made, rather it's resultant from false and misleading specifications data. The pan is described as 9" diameter by 3" high, but it is not. It's actually 8.5" by 2.5". The difference is small, you might say, a mere half-inch, but a half-inch on the end of your nose, or when measuring capacity volumetrically, that half-inch is not only significant, but critical. Typical recipes designed for 9" X 3" spring-form pans won't fit in this reduced standard without over-flowing. Manufacturers more and more, so it appears, in order to maintain profit margins and minimize price increases, surreptitiously reduce something, be it content weight/volume, material quality, or, in this case, (and many others), product dimensions. I regard such practice as fundamentally dishonest and fraudulent, particularly when it's easy enough for almost anybody to measure the dimensions. Manufacturers are assuming, I speculate, that we're not alert, nor smart enough to do just that, or so apathetic about being so regularly "shorted," we'll ignore the fraud. Nordic Ware has been a maker of good quality products for many years, and so I trusted the reputation...and the stated dimensions...when making the purchase. I'm most disappointed and displeased at the dishonesty. Amazon, as is the case always, with me, anyway, was prompt, straightforward, and generous with its resolution of my reported experience and dissatisfaction. Kudos to Amazon, but boo to Nordic Ware.

The only bundt tin I could find with some patterns and a springform tin. Excellent. Cakes are released easily with no sticking and it's nice to have a slightly patterned top to cakes (all the other springform pans I could find were boring plain ring tins!). All my cakes are gluten free, with added fruit and very moist - in a conventional round tin they were often a bit undercooked in the centre - this pan is great as its design means the centre of my cakes cook the same as the outer edges. Fab.

Only used this one time so far. It isn't anything I'll be usuing daily, but when I want a springform pan like this, I now have it! It didn't leak at all. I think others who complained didn't have the bottom in straight. It was great and released perfectly.
