Not sunk these yet, though they are super heavy, no concern that they wont be very strong when sunk and clamped up.

Spend several weeks searching and looking at reviews and even order from another place just to compare strength and metal. These turn out to be more durable and heavier and of course more than $100 less for 12 i bought

These look very nice. Thick black powder coat. Thickness of the steel seems identical to one's I've purchased at DIY stores locally. The quality and strength feels and looks to be very much on par with locally bought 6x6 stand-offs as well. I believe these are solid and should function just the same. The main difference I see is that my other ones are galvanized steel and these are powder coated steel. I don't know if that makes a difference in concrete but im sure at some juncture the powder coating may start to chip or peel off just because at some point they all do - at which point I generally just paint with DTM paint. They fit the 4x6 and 6x6 posts I have on hand perfectly. I am unsure how codes enforcement may percieve unmarked standoffs ? There is no markings on these no numbers or brand marks, nothing. If I was building in a area where permits were involved I would probably ask ahead if they need markings of some sort. I am not in an area requiring permits for my project and will use these along with the galvanized local acquired ones to build a carport. Time will tell if they stand up to weather as well as galvanized versions. I really like the look of these over galvanized so I hope they stand the test time. I will be painting my galvanized ones black as well they are very slow to rust even here in Florida but I prefer to paint the ones that are outdoors to keep them looking good anyway.

These are great post bases. Very sturdy with good coating on them. I've put these to work on an outdoor repair bay and these were easy to work with and have been doing a great job keeping the structure together in high winds - you name it for weather.

Quality made, well designed to help stop rotting, these are heavy duty easy to install just push them in your wet cement. Does a great job supporting your posts.

These post bases are designed to be placed in wet concrete, with the bottom of the post held about 1" off the surface to prevent moisture wicking. The base plate is not fixed in the risers, so allows for a small amount of leveling to compensate for concrete pad fall. They appear to be quality steel, with a decent paint coating, and multiple mounting holes.

Great product it seems. However I ordered them by mistake. Happy to say the return process and dealing with the vendor was super easy and fair.

These post bases are very very heavy steel. Once they are sunk in concrete no adjustments can be made. To set them right the first time.
