Best Mag base on the market. I use this daily on my Lathe. I have two others I use on the mill. Very easy to adjust into position, and locks solid. works as a camera base too. Noga makes great products in general.

First of all, I love this new indicator stand, however, when you spend $200+ on an item. You kinda hope it arrives without chipped paint and scratches.Other than this, the stand works well.

I've been using an old-school Starrett indicator holder for years. Always dreaded messing around getting the indicator into position with it. But now, with this Noga, it's effortless. I'm saving a ton of time and I look forward to opportunities to use it. Wish I'd bought it years ago.

Great, strong magnetic base, the double fine adjustment is a plus. Have no complaints, works and does exactly what it is designed for.

Delivered on time by Travers Tool Co. They emailed a follow up to see if everything went O.K. Noga DG6160 Fine Adjust FAT & FAB (Fine adjust top & Fine adjust bottom) is everything I hoped for. A tiny bit of rust stain on the mag base. That's to be expected. It's high carbon steel. Wiped it off with a rage with a little oil. No problem. So glad I bought it. The one knob adjust is amazing!I have no affiliation with Noga, Travers Tool, or Amazon.

The combination of both top and bottom fine adjustment makes this version of the popular NOGA positioning arm the most versatile of all. When trying to get a DTI into an awkward position it always seems that the other adjustment system would work better. I have both kinds of NOGA positioners, and it seems like I have to switch between them all too often. No more; with this one I can adjust by which ever system will work best in a particular situation.It's also sturdy enough to position small video cameras like GoPros and small camcorders. Great for doing machine shop videos.
