This is a cool night vision setup. The head mount part is not likely. The part you view is a small screen that would be way too close to your face to ever see. The screen is also quite bright is you are trying to be discreet. If you hold them more like binoculars they work pretty well. The single input is strong enough to see down a long street that is dimly lit, but in the woods. The IR is not very bright, lighting only about 50-80 ft. You need to hold them so they are useless for hunting.

Got a monocular that was only $60 and it was also night vision and the clarity was far better than the clarity of this wish it would have been more clear but you pay for what you get and I think I overpaid

For low cost night vision they perform excellent. Peripheral vision limitations would be only issue when using as goggles

I do like this night vision viewer so please don't take my next comments as criticism. I may be nitpicking, but I want to make sure there are no misunderstandings because of the product description using the terms "goggles" and "tactical". These are not "goggles" in the sense you cannot wear them or attach them to a tactical helmet. In fact, you can't even hold them up to your eyes like binoculars. This is basically a digital camera with 8x digital zoom and built-in infrared light. As such, you need to hold it away from your face so your eyes can focus on the view screen much like you would with your cell phone camera. That said, the device does a pretty good job of letting you view objects in the dark and take photos and video up to 4K resolution. There is also a threaded nut on the bottom for mounting the viewer to a tripod. With the infrared light on the highest setting, I could easily see objects out in the yard to about 300 feet. No idea if I'd be able to see out to the claimed 1968 ft. That seems a bit optimistic, but perhaps possible under perfect conditions. The viewer comes with an included 32Gb memory card, so I set the resolution down to 1080P to save space. All in all, this is a fun gadget that delivers a good picture at night. But don't buy these if you want a set of tacticool night vision goggles to use on your paintball helmet.

Fun to use at night and work well as binoculars. I found it easy navigate and learn the controls. Worth the money spent.

Fun to use at night. Works great, clear picture quality. And it doesn’t break the bank.
