This is a great, simple, "night vision" tool.It is very easy to use.It comes with good documentation, but it is pretty much unnecessary.I love that it has big manual focus knob! This makes it super easy and fast to tune up focus.I love that it is USB C rechargeable, and has a big battery. The screen is big and bright. The control buttons light up just enough and are big and easy to use.I'm very happy to have this!

So this item begs the question, what do you want this for? My quick review for people that don't want to read a novel is: If you want to use this as some sort of tactical or hunting needs, I wouldn't. If you want this to poke your head out the window and see what is rummaging around your garbage cans at 1am, this works. For around the price of a nice tactical flashlight, this is a cost effective alternative option. There are pros and cons for this type of unit, which you can find all over amazon for varying prices, but they all pretty much work the same. These units are for people curious about the dark, but don't have to use it for anything in particular. The reason I say that, is when you use this, you will be seen. The screen will illuminate your face as you are essentially looking at a small TV, very close to your face. People will see you and animals will see you. The edge of the plastic is also not comfortable to put against your face against and will hurt the bridge of your nose. Both of these issues could be solved with a cheap rubber gasket to seal around your eyes, which I will never understand why these don't come with them. There is a slight digital delay with this unit and all digital NVG's, mostly noticeable when moving, as sometimes it takes a second to catch up to what your are looking at while it processes. The distance that you can see is also somewhat limited to the throw of the IR light beam, but this can be improved with a separate purchase of an IR flashlight. Keep in mind that this unit as well as most night vision will have issues seeing through glass due to the IR reflecting. Now that we are past the cons, here is where it shines. It is nice that you can record with it and I like that it came with a 32GB micro SD card to save them. This could be helpful for night hunting coyote, hogs, etc. (always double check legality in your area) if you use it to scan the area for animals before your switch to white light on your rifle. Just know that anytime that screen is on, you are broadcasting your location. The unit is relatively light which makes it easy to bring along assuming you have the space. It also seems relatively tough where I wouldn't want to drop it on concrete repeatedly, but I feel like it can take some of the abuse of being thrown in a bag or taken into the woods. It does work and will allow you to see in the dark, which at about 100 dollars is a great deal. These do work and they work great for this price. These however do not, nor will ever replace a real set of night vision. I own a set of BNVD-1431 night vision and this unit is my second handheld version. I would never, ever debate between the BNVD and this unit when getting gear together for hunting. Going on a camping trip or if I was into night time bird watching, I would grab these. That being said, I paid around 65 times the amount on a real set than this unit. Real night vision are thousands of dollars and require special care. This unit compared to all of the other ones are pretty similar, if there is one that has better features or a different price, you really can't go wrong. These are a good price and certainly have their place if it works for you. So again, what do you want this for?

I am going to do my best to be fair here and not bash this thing for being something it isn't supposed to be.I've got a few points of comparison to use in this review, security cameras with NV capabilities and my trusty PVS7 Gen2+ analog NVGs along with using Wraith and Thor NV optics. I'm not new to the NVG game, but I use is so seldom I haven't worried to much about getting the latest and greatest gear even while I keep pace with what is out there. I just want to put that out there for context and why, at the outset, I refer to this unit as a toy.The case the unit comes with is sturdy and will give good protection. The unit charges up pretty quickly on the supplied USB-C cable, the strap could be useful for hanging the thing around your neck. Packaging/storage is good.I was surprised by how lightweight this is, for being a fairly large/bulky design, it weighs almost nothing. The controls are simple and intuitive, menus make sense, and all this is good because, like most guys, I didn't bother reading the instructions before playing with the device.Let's get to what you're actually going to care about, the image. Between 5 and 50 yards on NV, you can get a pretty crisp image; it is about the same with the hybrid sort of image (part NV but colorized). Inside of 5 yards, the image blurs and the diopter dial can't quite correct the picture. When I say crisp, I mean objects are identifiable with good lines, animals and people are recognizable as animals and people, but for positive identification, keep it within 25 yards. When surveying an area, this will let you know that something or someone is out there, but aside from saying "deer", "coyote", "person", you're not going to know anything more. Now we get into issues with digital NV devices. If you are watching something with these and it is moving at more than a walk, you're going to get significant blur. With budget digital NV, the refresh rate cannot keep pace with movement, either at the target or from the viewer. This is where I keep this unit in "toy" status. It isn't bad for static close-range observation, but when movement is involved, the performance just isn't there. The unit has a 1/4" mount for a tripod, and putting this on a ball-head tripod helped with stabilization and figuring out how close/far I wanted this from my eyes.Moving along with performance, when the NV mode is engaged, the IR illuminator comes on which, at 20-50 yards, isn't bad but it doesn't have the power to throw the light and lacks the flood for wider illumination. At close range, the IR illuminator just washes out the image if there is something close to reflect the light. In most cases, I'll probably just keep it taped closed (personal preference and I have other IR lights that will reach out 200 meters with a tight beam or 100 with a good flood). The big reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5, for what it is, is that the viewscreen irritates me. It is half the size of my phone screen and I just can't quite figure out where my face is supposed to be in relation to the screen. With my PVS7's, the image is right up at the eyeball; with the NV scopes, same thing, and with this unit, the screen is small enough and the unit is bulky enough that I want to bring it up like binoculars, but that just doesn't work. Holding this thing at the best viewing distance from your face just seems unnatural. Putting the unit on a tripod helps with this, but the viewscreen bugs me.Overall, this is a fun toy. Don't think this is for any serious application, but if you just want to see into the dark around your campsite or backyard, this is good fun. Just be careful, when you start into NODs, it can get stupidly expensive really fast as you want to up your game.

Right out of the box, they feel solid and well-built. They have a 3-inch HD screen that makes viewing incredibly clear. The 4K video and 48MP image quality are impressive, capturing crisp details even in low-light conditions. One of the standout features is the infrared night vision, which works surprisingly well. When tested in pitch darkness, the 2000-foot night vision range holds up.Battery life is another strong point; the 5000mAh rechargeable battery lasts hours, making it reliable for extended use. The 32GB TF card is lovely, providing plenty of storage for photos and videos. These goggles deliver on performance and quality. They’re easy to use, packed with features, and perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, security purposes, or just exploring the night.

These night vision goggles are easy to use and are a perfect introduction to night vision technology. The screen is bright and easy to see and the controls are easy to use. The neck strap is comfortable. The manual focus wheel is familiar, similar to normal binoculars so there isn't much of a learning curve. The range is long enough for me to use on my property so keeping an eye on my yard is simple. The unit is lightweight, so everyone in my house included my kids can easily carry and use it.
