These do cut down the wind level audio on my camera, but due to how thin these are the wind audio is not completely eliminated. If you are recording outside, you absolutely need a deadcat...if you need something but don't want to break the bank, these will do in a pinch.

Adhesive let go before i could even use it and the residue still lives on my camera until i choose to use some rubbing alcohol to clean it, waste of money try something else.

I purchased this kit for use with a set of Bose QC45 headphones. While they can be tricky to install, these work great for mitigating wind noise without compromising microphone pickup when it comes to voices and emergency vehicles. The adhesive rings will wear out in less than a year, but for the price, it's not a bad tradeoff. Do not use these in rainy conditions unless you want to replace them at the end of that day. These won't soak-up water, but the adhesive will wash-off and need to be re-applied if they get wet.
