So let me start off by saying I know nothing about track and field running and use these cleats for yard work.Starting with the fit, the only issue I've had is the toe box is smaller than I desire, but I am used to wide toe shoes and a small toe box may be needed for running. Personally I find that to be a bit uncomfortable.Past that, the shoe fits wonderfully and stays on my feet very securely.The metal spike cleats and highly aggressive tread pattern have been a godsend for me when I weedwhack on a slope. I feel very secure standing on a very steep incline and haven't slipped once. If it can hold up to that it will work with the track.Also, the shoes come with a full set of replacement spikes and a tool to remove and replace the spikes.Overall a great and great looking cleat for the future track star or just someone looking to not slide down a hill just because they stood on it.
