We picked up the farberware table top grill and rotisserie and it fired up then quit. This replacement cord took care of the issue and the 30 year old grill works like new now.

I love the cord for my Farberware griIl! It works great and my kitchen doesn't get heated up and it's easier to clean than my stove. Thank you for keeping this cord available so I can use my old favorite!

The cord fits & works perfectly. I have my broiler back. I ordered it 12/24 & received it 12/26. That's two days & one those days was Christmas. WOW!

The cord arrived in mid-June, and was used maybe once or twice a week until now--early August. It has already burned out. While the cord in the picture looks like the original Faberware cord with the metal spring-like guard where the cord enters the plug which accepts the heating element on the broiler, the cord which was delivered lacked that spring-like guard. And given the failure of the cord within a month and a half, the proper interior parts are lacking as well. Some of the review were glowing, so at some point the proper cords may have been available, but the one delivered to me was not one of those. Does no one manufacture a cord which can hold up to the electrical current used in the Faberware broiler?

We bought a used Farberware Open Hearth Broiler-Rotisserie Model 455N at a shop, that was in very good condition. When we tested it we notice that the existing power cord got very hot to the touch in just 10 minutes, and the plug got even hotter. We were afraid to use it unattended or at all. We bought this replacement cord and it works very well (it has a UL stick-on, wrap-around sticker on it); you can just barely detect some warmth. It seems very safe. We have used it several times. We cooked a whole chicken which took about 2 hours and the cord worked fine without overheating.

I was hesitant about ordering this item online, worried it would not fit. But, I was wrong! It fits, it works and I can now use my wonderful Farberware grill again. Several months ago my power cord shorted out, I could not find a replacement, so I stored the grill and thought I was done, Then I thought about Amazon having almost everything! Yep, found it, the product description and buyer reviews convinced me to give it a try. It works great and is longer than the original cord, so it is a lot more convenient.

Needed a new cord because old one was beginning to heat during use.....no cord from Farberware that I found so tried this one and it has worked fine the four times we have used the grill since purchasing the new cord. ..I did think it was a bit expensive but it works!
