I filled my 10 lbs CO2 tank and after about 15 to 20 chilled glasses, all I get now is gas but no cold liquid. I wonder if siphon is working correctly? Did they put enough CO2 in the tank or is my glass chiller really practical. Any feedback be appreciated.

Not a single place around me will fill this tank. Everywhere I call says they can't fill any CO2 tank, regardless of certification. The only thing I can do is buy a tank from Airgas and exchange it when I need to recharge it. Amazon refuses to return it because they say "it's flammable", but it's a CO2 tank and I was never even able to fill it...I guess I just lost $150

I use this tank to refill sodastream bottles. I use the following adapter:CGA-320 CO2 Cylinder Adapter Bottle Connector CO2 Tank Soda Maker Accessories with Hose for Filling Soda Tank (36Inch)+ wrench to tightenI refill 10lbs CO2 for about $28.According to the gauge on the adapter, I am only refilling to around 800 PSI. The bottle is quite a bit lighter than a new filled CO2 bottle and feels like it produces less liters of beverage. This doesn't bother me much as it just means I need to spend a few minutes to fill up the canister slightly more often.$58 adapter + $110 tank (at the time) +$28 (10lb fill) . Break even point compared to Sodastream refills (at 15 a refill for 14 oz) will be approximately after you refill the large tank twice (a little after 1 full tank).Make sure you get an antisiphon tube to make sure you are transferring primarily liquid CO2.Make sure you slowly open adapter valves so you don't blow a release valve on the little tank.A handle would have been nice but you can bring gloves and or a box to carry the freshly filled tank. All around, if you like bubbles in your drinks, I would recommend this tank. No notable complaints, had since 2020.

The tank is great.Just as a single point of reference; it cost me $46 to fill this tank with food grade CO2 ($36 for the gas, $10 handling). 4 out of 5 places I contacted don't fill tanks, they just swap out rentals, so getting your own tank filled might be a long drive.

I use this to fill co2 canisters for a popular soda water maker (together with a valve). I bought this cylinder because it came with a syphon. This means you avoid having to invert it so that the co2 liquid (instead of gas) comes out first. It works as described. Some notes:-- the canisters I have are meant to hold 410g. When the cylinder was first filled I was able to get close to that; currently I'm getting ~200-250g (after maybe a dozen fills). This was bugging me until I realized that 400g is close to a pound. So the right reaction should have been "10lb? that's not all that much gas". Had I been thinking it through I would have bought a 20lb cylinder.-- I got my gas at a beer distributor a couple of miles away. They sold me 13lb. I looked up other (commercial) distributors, most of which seemed to be run as a service (they own the cylinders and deliver to you; kind of like knives in restauration). I wasn't clear they did any walkup business (I should ask).

It appears to be OK. My only real issue is that they show a picture of a tank with a carrying handle, but it doesn't come with one. They are apparently using two different pictures, because the one on this page next to the comment section has no handle. I contacted them and they did not get back to me.In the end, it seems like a fine product and I would recommend buying it if this is what you are looking for. The only reason for the 4 stars is that they didn't get back to me in a timely fashion...or at all.

arrived fast and in the condition showed. it is just the right size to fill the 24oz CO2 bottles for the soda stream. found out that paint ball stores will not fill them due to not making money and it is not considered food grade CO2. the local bottled gas company does not like to fill them because there is no money in the small bottles. it is easy to fill the 24oz bottles with an inexpensive refill station around $50.
