Wir haben unzählige Schlösser dieser Kategorie und einige Abus sind uns am Zapfen gebrochen. Also musste wieder Ersatz her. Das Schloss hat eine ausreichende Länge und erfüllt seinen Zweck. Besonders gut ist, dass es einen Notschlüssel gibt - oder man verwendet den anstelle der Zahlenkombination. Der Zapfen ist auf jeden Fall dicker als bei den bisherigen Abusschlössern und hält hoffentlich ein wenig. Mag sein, dass es bei manchen schnell bricht, aber oft wundert mich das manchmal nicht. Die Kinder passen halt auch oft nicht so auf und da fällt das Schloss schon mal auf den Boden, etc. Es ist halt Guss und irgendwann bricht das Zeug. Habe ich jetzt bei allen Schlössern sämtlicher Hersteller gelesen in den Rezessionen. Von daher erfüllt das Schloss aktuell unseren Erwartungen.

Small and compact but very heavy. I think it will work for what I need but I may look for something that doesn't weigh as much.

Very impressive product. It is heavy duty - in fact, it is physically much heavier than I expected. The combination of dial and key lock is a nice safeguard. History has taught me that sometimes these dial locks can fail, so having the key as s backup is smart. And as for the dial lock, it works perfectly. It is easy to reset, and the mechanism is precise. I highly recommend this lock.

This lock is fantastic. I will start off by saying it is HEAVY and that's a good thing. Also the ability to set your own code and use a key or the code is a life saver for those who know what I am talking about. I don't think anybody would get away with stealing a car with this thing if it was strapped to a light pole. They'd end up taking the light pole with them! Convenient, you can just wrap and lock around bike frame when your riding or throw it in your backpack. Highly recommend and will be buying for every other bike I own.

I bought another brand first and the part that looks like a key that goes into the lock was plastic it broke. This one is metal seems super durable. It would be extremely hard to steal my dirtbike now.

Sturdy chain, cover has not yet degraded (nice feature to protect the bike paint) & mechanism works with ease thus far. Having 2 options for unlocking has proven beneficial, given the last couple of bike lock & chains we had became unuseable because our child kept losing his keys.Not a problem anymore! I keep the keys & He set the combo so now I don't have to worry about a replacement or breaking out cable clippers.IMHO, Good value for the money given everything is inflated right now. Has some weight compared to a flimsy cable, but not to the extent of being a problem.
