These work well in snow or water. They are a little rough, rather than being comfortable. After a while of wearing them, they start to feel a bit better, but still not a comfortable fit overall. Size fits as ordered.

I ordered these for my 87-year-old Dad, and when he opened the box, he thought they were weird. I know these are meant for a kitchen situation or for chefs, but the no-slip, slip-on feature and wide size made me think of my VERY active dad.Fast-forward a month later, my dad LOVES these shoes! He is wearing daily, and he thinks they are perfect. Are they pretty? Nope, but I love that my dad loves them and that he feels safe walking in parking lots, in the driveway and just basic winter task outside.

With the easy slip on design, non-slip bottom, water resistant materials, these would be an excellent choice for restaurant workers or someone needing a comfortable slip resistant shoe to wear all day.The padding on the inside is adequate and very comfortable. The shoe provides a wider toe box than most, alllowing plenty of room to move your toes around.I love the minimal and attractive design which makes these perfect for casual to semi-formal wear.I like them!

Truly nonslip and well made. If you look at my first photo and zoom in, you'll see the outer layer appears to be genuine leather of average quality. Besides the actual leather, the double stitching is also indicative of pretty good quality, in my books. In terms of comfort, these are also great, though I can see how they might not be for everyone. I actually found it easier to put them on with a shoe horn simply because the top of the soft push insides kept trying to roll down my heel. This wouldn't be an issue with nylon dress socks (or no socks), but sure is an issue with regular cotton socks. It would be nice if they had a tab to hold that area as you put the shoe in, or shoved some hard plastic inside that area like a lot of companies do to prevent this issue.Between that and the tight fit around the mid section of my foot, I was actually inclined to take a star off, but I've been wearing them for two days now without any soreness. The tightness seems to have loosened up a bit there too, but they're still tighter there than some other pretty new pairs of shoes I have, to the extent that I actually might have enjoyed a size 14, as someone who prefers a looser fit on my shoes / doesn't tighten laces very hard. That said, the toe area is very spacious. I was surprised after the tight slip past the middle area, just how much space I had to wiggle my toes. I can only assume it would be even more with a size up, and I LOVE having wiggle room. In tight fitting shoes, I actually use toe spacers to keep them separate just for a better feeling, which is completely not necessary here.Again, if I hadn't fallen in love with the amount of room they have there, and if it hadn't loosened up a little over the last day, I'd have probably given these a 4/5 for that in addition to the lack of a pull tab or plastic backing behind the heel, but my overwhelming love for that extra space eclipses all of that for me. But again, if you like looser fitting shoes, get a size up from what you normally do!OH! And having worked in a kitchen before, PLEASE put "non slip" on a tag SOMEWHERE on the shoe. There's plenty of restaurants that do NOT allow anything other than shoes for crews UNLESS the shoe you wear specifically says "non slip" on it. In my younger years, I worked at two different places that had that rule.

These are sold as work shoes, like for use in a restaurant or other job that requires non slip soles. These are not the most non slip soles I have ever used but they are sufficient for all but a floor that is heavily covered in grease. They are definitely waterproof, and are easy to wipe clean if they get dirty. These are very lightweight shoes, have a soft lining that is very comfortable to stand in for extended periods of time, and are super comfortable overall. These are fairly easy to slip on, but I do wish they had included a grab strap on the heel for using to pull the heel up when putting them on. I can still get them on okay, it would just be simpler and easier with a grab strap. I use these for working around the house, and I am very happy with them, they don't slip when I'm walking around on a wet porch floor, and they are so comfortable to wear. The shoes fit exactly as they should, and I just ordered my usual size, so sizing is right on the money. I think these are an excellent value, and I can wholeheartedly recommend them.
