The 25mm wide hook and loop strap provides enough contact area that the strap will not come undone. The strap is easy to attach and will still slide easily along the boom. It does the job. I will say it reduces the rigging time by a couple of minutes, particularly if windy. It slides well along the boom. I am happy with this purchase.
