How to clean?
Step 1: Fill the hydration bladder with warm water, half a teaspoon of bleach and two tablespoons of baking soda. Shake, close, then let it sit for 30 minutes or so.
Step 2: Dump out the cleaning solution, rinse well, flush the hose, prop the water reservoir open and hang it to dry.

This water bladder has a large capacity. I really like how easy it is to fill because the opening is at the top (I find the ones with the opening on the side of the bag cumbersome and awkward to fill). I also love the seal for the top because it folds over and then the slider piece locks it closed - I've never had any leaks. The mouthpiece is one of my favorite parts about it because it's easy to open and close and you have to slightly bite down on it to have the water come out, thus preventing it leaking when not in use. I would 100% recommend this water bladder and even bought one for my son.

Had to get a replacement because my cat tore my first one and caused a leak. I will keep this one away from my cats. Havent used this one yet but planning to do so very soon.

I have plenty of different bladders and hydration packs but I just got the 5.11 Rush12 2.0. Didn’t want to drop ~$50-60 on theirs or the camelback milspec ones. I have a loose bladder with a similar style hose and mouth piece but I personally think it’s too long for the Rush12 and is uncomfortable. Also, I don’t care for the mouth piece. So I went looking for one the right length/width.Do want to note, the material for this bladder isn’t as rigid as my others. But, I did not get any taste/smell from the material at all. Seems like it’ll hold up no problem but I’ll update if it doesn’t. It will get near daily use. Mouth pieces feels good, locks open (my other one doesn’t), cover fits snug, and the flow rate is great. Fits better in my Rush, though I do wish it was a bit wider for the same value so it could fit a bit more flat. That said, I don’t feel it in the pack like I did with my other bladders. So far, can’t complain!

I was a diehard Nevo Rhino fan with my first backpack purchase. After using pretty daily for about a year, I decided to replace and get a new bladder to replace the one that came with the backpack.The initial bladder was phenomenal, no leaks at all. Replacement, not so much.Pros: This replacement bag has a much better top seal (The original one with the backpack pinched sometimes) This one slides easily, doesnt pinch, and the top remains connected to the bag so you don't lose it.Major Cons: New Bladder Mouthpiece leaks. Bad. Starts off slow. Couple of drips an hour. After using for almost 2 months, it's an almost constant drip. If I let it hang while hiking it soaks my shirt like I'm lactating from one breast. I hate it. I can't leave the bag anywhere or it leaves a puddle.If there's no way to make it better, I'm going to have to move on to another brand.

This OEM bladder replaced the original 2 1/2 year old bladder that saw 1-2 times average weekly use, purified water only. The original was fraying slightly at the top edge where the plastic handle slider slips on. This fraying was making sliding the handle on somewhat difficult to do smoothly. The replacement is of course brand new and the handle slides easily. It seems the design though looks similar appears better constructed. It was timely and meets my expectations as an OEM replacement. Not sure why but the water tastes better too. The nipple bites and expels water more easily. I kept the other bladder rinsed and clean each time, too. Guess it was time to go.

These fit our Osprey packs. I originally purchased one that was bottle shaped, IE bag was wider than mouth. It was hard to slip in. These with straight sides slide right in.

Used a few times so far, LOVE the super wide opening. Can actually easily fit my hand in there to get it nice & cleaned!! So many of these have round holes to small my wife can barely get in them to clean, not this one... Works great!!Also love the quick connector for the tube. Makes it really easy to leave the hose attached to my camelback and remove the container for cleaning. I'll typically pull the back out of my camelback, detach the tube, then hold it over the sent to drain the water out of the tube also

When the small plastic stopper in the mouthpiece of my initial hydration bladder that came with my NEVO RHINO Hydration Backpack snapped recently, rendering the piece unusable as it could no longer create a firm seal to prevent water back-flowing from the tube when the mouthpiece was in the locked position, I knew that, despite this reasonable functionality flaw, I was still quite pleased with the hydration bladder overall and returned to NEVO's products' page in hopes of replacing just the plastic tube and mouthpiece for my bladder but found quickly that the downspout end on the bottom of the bladder was pretty well set and seemed adhered in place so much that if I tried to remove it I risked breaking the plastic spout (which would not do of course).What I was relieved and happy to discover is that, with this particular bladder, NEVO has seemingly addressed the issue with the point of attachment of the plastic tube onto the downspout by offering an auto-lock option that allows the line to detach from the spout for easier cleaning access and even replacing as needed, which was a welcome upgrade (although I did notice that the non-auto-lock version is still showing in photos on the product page, the bladder I received came with the locking option).At the end of the day, I chose a complete replacement of the bladder and couldn't be more pleased. This modified version will simplify cleaning and swapping parts in the future, and, in my experience thus far, everything else that makes this product worthwhile over others still holds true: the wide opening for easy refilling, the clean, non-after taste from BPAs, and the soft mouthpiece are all defining strengths, though my one note of caution to other users would perhaps be to learn from my mistake and try not to bite at the mouthpiece for releasing water; this is a significant weak spot, as the plastic stopper isn't infallible and might last much longer with a gentle tug using the thumb and pointer fingers.
