Chains came on very quickly. They are marked g70 and seem to be of suitable quality for transport, they were bright and shiny gold color, they are made in china. I bought a 20' chain locally for over twice the cost of this set of 4 chains. The chains come with the larger hooks, they are perfect for chaining down a machine or in my case, a specialty attachemnt.The short chains are convenient/functional because you dont have to secure all the excess chain. This is a good value and I would buy againThese would also be perfect for replacing the break away chains on a heavy duty trailer
