This is smooth wood and nicely cut. It went together easily with a screw driver.I'd recommend a little wood glue to keep the shelves in the grooves. They fit but there's enough give to new a bit of security. Overall pleased.

Very sturdy and super easy to assemble. I love the color but the ONLY DOWNFALL is that the white paint washed away by any simple tough of water. I don’t really mind it because I use this for party candy tables and will need to paint it a different color for the next occasion.

Made of extremely light grade wood, came broken and cracked inside a sealed box…. So much for their quality control!We had to glue the darn thing together to even use it … sadly it came just before the event and we had to repair it so that it could be used.I honestly would not waste your money even it it came in perfect condition.. the wood is so flimsy and it looks great all set up but how long it will ever last is the big question…. Very disappointed in the quality!

I bought it to display candles on. This is a no buy!!! 3 broken pieces I had to glue together. I could have spent half the money on a better display rack.I never give reviews, but this was pitiful. I guess I was the fool to pay so much for this. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Like so many other reviewers, I received one piece that was broken. It did not appear to be broken in transit because the box was undamaged, but the piece was just put into the box. So definitely the QC could be better. However, I bought two and what I was putting on them wasn't very heavy, and I was in a hurry, so I used wood glue and repaired it before putting it together. The instructions are a little lacking, but once I knew the side the little holes went on, the second shelf went together much easier. The shelves are a little bigger than anticipated so just be sure your space will hold it. I can't really recommend this shelf because so many arrive broken. It's nothing fancy, the wood is kind of dried out and has a few cracks. I suppose it's trying to be shabby shiek, but it's really just cheap. But it is fine for displaying items. I used mine to display a collection of dolls and the broken / mended end is high enough up that nobody will even notice it.

Cute and perfect for what i needed. It was easy to assemble. However upon on delivery the top on one was cracked.
