Installed this switch as a master on a some lights for a small john boat, and it gave out after less than a year of light use.

as soon as they get wet they stop working terrible product. I have used these multiple times they last a couple months and that is it.

I’ve went through 3 of these since last summer. Installed this for my whip lights on my utv. First went bad because it got wet. Second just quit after a few uses. The last one is getting replaced this weekend because it’s intermittently working/flickering. I imagine if kept in dry conditions and almost never using it you might get a couple months out of it?

The switch is touted as being waterproof, and meant for marine applications. OK, it doesn't look much different from the cheap little 12-volt toggle switches, but I'll trust that they have added the proper gasket to keep rain from getting inside.But the delivery was botched somehow -- I was told it had arrived, when in fact the packet didn't show up until 3 days later.
