This is the right lid for shop vac! We purchased other caps and they didn't fit. This one fit perfectly and worked for outlr vacuum. It's very pricey but we needed it for our drywall .

Other than the fact that the OEM color was red and this cap was black it fits perfectly and gets the job done. I would recommend.
