We put a white long sleeve shirt under it. It was super cute, and good quality. The buttons were a bit loose but it didn't come apart when he was running to look for eggs. It held up to a little boy running all over, sliding down sides, jumping and rolling in the dirt. That's great in my book. If you know, you know.

Way too big for a newborn. My son weighs 8.5lbs and it’s too big around the middle and too long. Material is very fragile feeling and I don’t think it would last long if washed. Very cute though for one time Easter pics if you can hide the fact that it’s so big.
