Doesn't hold microphone in any usable position as the plastic is very flimsy and just bends under the weight of a microphone.

Nice little shock mount I got to hold an older Rode VideoMic Me I'm trying to get more use out of. It does the job. I'm disappointed that it arrived bent. It was in a thin plastic bag with no other protection. Not much care by the manufacturer to insure their products are safe. The overall rating is due to this issue.

I bought a Movo VXR10 Pro mic, and it came with the Rycote Lyre mount that has TWO red clips, not just one.However, the mount will not fit on the barrel of the mic, no matter what I do. I researched on YouTube, and found that other purchasers of the Movo VXR10 or VXR10 Pro have the same problem: the clips simply will NOT fit on the barrel of the mic that they are supposed to be designed to fit.So, I returned the mic and the mount. The mount is worthless.
