I bought this thinking that it would drop my monitor to the bottom with out any real support from the stand other than it holding it up. The reason why I say this is because I'm using an armoire and the monitor I had bought was to tall with the stand to fit inside and the only stand that could slide all the way down and give me control was this one and maybe one other. This stand says it can only support up to 13" to 32" and 17.6lbs. The monitor I had bought is 40" wide and 28 pounds. It is working with out a problem I even tried to push down on it to see if it would drop down and it did not. It's very strong and even the tilt holds up nicely you just have to make sure you tighten it enough to hold the monitor. I've read reviews that say it doesn't support a normal monitor with in the specs and they show proof of misalignment of the screws used for the base. I didn't have this issue so it would seem this was an issue before but now it's fixed? If so the company should really put something up saying so but that's just my two cents worth.

they basically give u everything u need, u just need a Phillips screw driver, the monitor height can be adjusted super easily, and the monitor can be moved up or down, overall worth it purchase!

This monitor stand is the best I have yet to buy! It is very sturdy and holds my 27" curved gaming monitor with ease. Assembled with ease - adjustability, tilt, and rotation are a snap.Don't let the cheap price fool you. I had my doubts but took a chance anyway.GLAD I did!!!

I had previously purchased six of these for a community center and now I have them in my home to clean up my multimonitor layout. They are hard to adjust the first time, but they hold position well and are sturdy. I have V7 monitors and I will advise you that the mount may not work well with this manufacturer. The power and video inputs are close to the VESA mount. The good news is that the base can be swiveled to help open up space for cables. But one of my monitors has the inputs positioned directly under the mount plate and for that one, I had to fashion rails to extend the mount several inches away. There is another important point. These mounts have the most height, almost 18 inches. If you want to open your desk space and keep your back and neck straight, you will appreciate the height.

These are rather utilitarian and get the job done. Assembly takes a few minutes each: no problem for a few, but I wouldn't want to do them in bulk quantities. They are not very elegant looking, but they seem to support a somewhat-heavy 27-inch monitor with decent stability. The height is not really adjustable by user: you set the height when you assemble it, but need tools to adjust it again. Tilt and swivel can be adjusted by user, and it still feels stable while adjusting (but you might need to set tension with tools).

This is exactly what I was looking for when trying to find a reasonably priced adjustable monitor stand. It works great with my current monitor and seems very sturdy and well-built. My monitor does not shake or wiggle with this current stand in the slightest. Once the screen has been adjusted to your liking everything locks in place nicely. The base is also another solid piece. I'd say that it's just the "right amount of weight & size" for the type of monitor I currently use. It's not absurdly large, but gets the job done. Overall, this is a great little stand and fits my needs just right. Would highly recommend for a relatively small to medium sized monitor. 5/5!

The stand is great and fully VESA compatible. Really sturdy, a nice metal that doesn't rust and can take a few hits. The biggest issue with the stand is the actual mount. when given the Allen wrench in the instruction manual, KEEP IT. after a period of time, the stand will loosen resulting in the monitor tilting downwards. This can be easily fixed by re-tightening the mount and is obviously dependant on how heavy your monitor is. All in all, a great stand for the price.
