Works with Motorola Solutions Talkabout T475 Extreme Two-Way Radio. You have to run cord under radio belt clip to keep it from coming unplugged when taking mic from belt to over shoulder. Mic has to be close to mouth our you have to speak loudly for it to pick up voice clearly.

I got one of these for our ski trip and it was great! Was able to communicate with everyone easily and without having to dig through my jacket layers to get to the walkie talkie or missing a message.Exposed the mic to wind, rain and cold temperatures and did great, no issues of any sort and the the rotational clip helps keep it in reach easily.Highly recommend it to anyone looking to use it in an outdoor activity where you need your hands free most of the time

Paired with Motorola Walkie Talkies (T460). Works beautifully. Perfect for skiing and other sports where you don't want to be taking your walkie talkie out of your pocket - like on the ski lift, or bike rides, etc. Sound is fine. Sometimes it takes a few tries for the mic to pick up your voice. You have to really aim your voice at the mic for it to work, but I have no complaints. Highly recommend.

This fit my Motorola T260 and made it a fun, unnecessary addition to it. The overall construction was great and looks professional. However, I'm about 5 feet 8 inches (172 cm ~) tall and stretching the helical cord a bit pulles it out of the radio fairly easily. >>Please consider the length of 17 inches (43 cm ~) from your radio to this microphone. The total sound output is subjectively about 85% of the motorola T260. I don't see it advertised as water-friendly but suggested for "fishing/skiing". I do not recommend getting it wet and may need a bag on the microphone portion to keep it fluid-isolated.I bought it for about 20$ which was a great and worthwhile buy that I even gifted one to my brother.

I have only had it about a week, but I needed it to use with my Motorola Walkie Talkie. I walk about 2 miles a day even in the the cold weather we had this season. My radio kept dieing out when I tried to use it to talk to my husband on my walk from home to a high school on the other side of I96 here in Redford, MI. The cold was a major factor and I tried insulating the radio but it still was dieing out a few days after recharging my batteries. I could have recharged the batteries every couple of days that would have helped, but I try to let them run down before charging. Plus pushing the button is cumbersome with a hand that has to have both a glove and a mitten on to keep reasonably warm. I did buy another small set that had an earphone, but the sound was not loud enough, I may have dome some damage to that set that caused that problem, don't know, but needed to try something a little more workable so we bought this, and I clip it on the pocket just below my collar and put the radio inside my coat which is in the middle of the coat above my waist. So I was able to find a good position for everything and so far this has been my best solution. I will probably even use it in the summer because of the ease of use. My husbands voice comes in loud and clear and it is minimum inconvenience to push the button even with a double protected hand. The button is longer than the one with the earphone, it works great.

These mics are pretty legit.Speaker Quality:The speaker quality is pretty good just as long the user on the other end does their part in speaking into the mic correctly. I have the MR350R waterproof version and the remote speaker is pretty close to the quality of the handhelds speaker. The remote speaker does have a bit more treble to it but not bad enough to where its a problem.Durability:The plastic housing isn't the thickest, but thick enough to where it is durable enough for normal use unlike the remote mics for law enforcement. The feels very sturdy and durable. Only gripe about the cord is that it is quite short and the coil makes it tight from waist to lapel. Some may want this but if it weren't as tight and uncoiled easier then it would probably be better.!!!UPDATE!!!I used this remote speaker mic for 5 days while snowboarding. I wore it on the strap of the backpack where it was exposed to snow and cold constantly. I'm not the best snowboarder so I was in the snow all over the place. The mic isn't labeled as water proof or even weather resistant but it definitely got wet and still works like a charm. The clip was strong enough and never fell off of the strap even after all of my spills. I love this thing and want to use it every chance I get.

i bought this because when i do my volunteer work it is extremely hard to hear. so with this one i could hear everything that goes over the radio. THIS IS A 1 PIN REMOTE SPEAKER. YOUR RADIO NEEDS TO HAVE A SLOT FOR 1 PIN TO USE THIS.pro.-built nicely-able to have the radio on low and still be able to hear everything (keep in mind of the noise around you)-push to talk built incon-i use a safety pin so i could attach it my uniform better. may pull the clothes down a bit (need to break in the wires has to be looser) this is something smallthis does have a clip on the back of the speakers but i dont like to use it.overallprice cheaper now compared to when it first name came out (about $15 less)sound goodjust overall its very good.i would recommend this.

I have an old set of Kenwood radios with external speaker mics, but they are getting old. So I bought a pair of motorola GMRS radios and these external speaker mics. I must say, they feel really well built. They are solid, with a good clip. There is just one problem. They suck. Talking and listening through these things is like talking and listening through a pillow. It was such a disappointment. I had to ask my friends to keep repeating themselves. Now I have to shop all over again. Don't get these.Oh, and I should add that it's not the radios. They sound good until you plug these mics in.
