This is what my husband had to say:This mid-pipe/adapter for my Ninja 400 was a pain to install, but the sound improvement is huge. Deep, throaty growl, way better than stock. Looks decent, stainless steel. No noticeable power gains, mainly for sound. If you want a cheap sound upgrade and don't mind a tough install, it's worth it.

This exaust is fantastic. I got this to put on my CFMOTO 650NK. I had a knockoff austin racing exhaust that was absurdly loud and obnoxious. This sounds great and isn't ridiculously loud. the diameter of the slip on was the same so i didn't even have to use the mid pipe. The muffler clamp is very nice and shiny as well. Took a whole 5 minutes to swap out start to finish! I highly recommend this exhaust if you don't want to spend $300+ on one.

The pipe itself is worth the money. The hardware is decent and the Bike sounds good.I would recommend this pipe if you're on a budget and you want to wait and save for a better exhaust pipe.I just bought a ninja 500 new from the dealership and the stock exhaust sounds like a hairdryer so I decided to buy this exhaust pipe for the time being.The pipe and hardware are made of good quality, but later on I'm going to try and buy a Leo Vince evolution pipe.
