Depending on the muffler and mid pipe setup, this might not fit as snug as it should and will bounce around a bit.The design could also be more refined, other name branded DB reducers are drastically different and work. This version has about the same Decibels installed or not, but the pitch is different when installed it is a little deeper sounding.I will open up the engine side by removing the welded cap on that side leaving the other cap alone, maybe that will force soundwaves into the muffler packing more?Try and source a FMF, Yoshimura, GPR, Vance and Hinse, or Arrow branded decibel reducer for versions that actually had R&D to get the darn thing to work as advertised, one brand lowered the Decibels by upwards of 15 on my Aprilia race bike with a full aftermarket exhaust.First one I received had a good dent in the outer 50mm ring, the company was gracious enough to replace the item. Replacement item had no dent. Both fit snug in one of the 51mm mufflers, both would also rattle around and freely move inside another 51mm muffler I had on hand.
