Great Fit on my Marlin 1894 .357. It allows me to move the scope back where it needs to be.

Fit perfectly on my Henry Homesteader and before adding the scope, you could still see the factory Iron sight. Mounts fit perfectly to this rail. Looks good.

Mounted on my marlin and it's doing ok, bolt holes line up. Didn't trust the lock tight so I did my own. Scope mounts up and is holding true

BTW, Henry is basically a Marlin pattern gun, so this rail was a perfect fit for me.I had my doubts about Monstrum, and I still do, but I'm a "try it once" kinda guy. I have a couple of hundred rounds through my Henry 45-70, mostly the Leverevolution 325gr, which are no slouch, but also a few Underwood +P spicy rounds. We're talking more recoil than a 30-06 and when shooting from the bench, I was crying out "OUCH" after each shot, without being dramatic. Had a bruise on my shoulder after each session. It's definitely not a bench caliber :) I have a Vortex Crossfire II 3-9X50 STRAIGHT-WALL BDC on it, a chunky 18 oz. scope, so not just a mere red dot. Marlin has a more reasonable 2-7x32. Both have held zero just fine. Definitely recommend using a torque wrench and use the proper torque settings. These settings are not subjective from the manufacturers, they are an industry standard for fastening specific materials, i.e. steel to steel, aluminum to steel, aluminum to aluminum - each have their own proper torque. I read the negative reviews carefully and I guess I do believe an occasional lemon or wrong item sent, but some of those also seem like people who are better off going to a gunsmith. 6061 aluminum alloy is plenty strong, most scope rings and mounts are made from it, even some AR lowers and uppers, including the integrated rails on them.I will definitely update if I run into any issues but so far no regrets.UPDATE: one small issue is that if you try to mount an LPVO on your lever action, this rail might be a tad short. With rings mounted at opposite ends, I still had to have the front ring be 1/8" away from the turrets. Not ideal. The Henry EGW rail might be a better choice for that, it has an extra slot or two extending over the barrel beyond the receiver, which would just be perfect.

The rail has plenty of screw holes that allowed me to mount to a custom barrel easily with minimal extra work. Rail looks good and will work perfectly for my needs. Only complaint I had is it came with 8-40 screws and i was unaware of that before purchase.
