Good product but giving 4 stars because the cut-out for the shell extractor doesn’t match perfectly to the rifles shell extractor.

It fits perfectly at a very affordable price.Note they give you both types of screws, 8-40 and 6-48. The slightly thinner screws are 6-48 and the most widely used in older factory Rem 700 or Bergara B-14 actions. 8-40 are commonly used in for example Rem 700 Police, custom actions or Bergara Premier actions. Split them up as soon as you get the package. Either way, the base sits flush and sturdy on the action.

Superior quality and excellent fit on my Colt CBX TacHunter. Rear mounting screws were a little too long and interfered with the bolt, so I filed off a tiny bit and they fit perfectly. Added some blue Loctite, torqued it down and it is solid! Scope holds perfect zero. Highly recommend Monstrum!

My Bergara used the smaller threaded screws. Aligned well and tightened down.

The rail fits and work great. The screws provided with the rail are suspect at best. One broke off in my weapon upon installation. Was using a fat wrench torque wrench and the screw broke half way in to installation. So needless to say spend several days removing the broken not stripped fastener out to replace it. By the way I wasn't using thread fastener either.

On my model 700 chambered in .223 Winchester the front screw will bottom out against the barrel where it is threaded into the upper receiver before it seats in the rail recess. I cut about 1/3 of the threads off with a Dremel. I cannot recommend doing what I did. getting the shortened screw started was difficult as the tiny little threads were clearly a bit messed up. Perhaps a screw assortment from Harbor Freight or a few washers stacked in the screw recess or even leaving that screw out would be a better solution. All screws I delt with were T15 drive. The original screws are bugle head and the replacements are flat contact surface.Monstrum: If you read this please advise the preferred resolution.
