So far, that is. We ordered this last Monday and it was here by Wednesday. The package included everything we needed, and my husband had it installed in under 30 minutes. It currently holds two 29" mountain bikes, one 58cm road bike, and one comfort bike. There is plenty of room for the second 58cm road bike coming this week. Beyond that, with the two 29s on there, I'm not sure it would hold six bikes that could easily be removed. Note that - that could easily be removed. It would hold six, but you'd have to take more than one down to access one bike. This really frees up space in the garage and gets the bikes off the floor.Notes from other reviews I read prior to ordering:Size of lag bolts - Seriously? They are 2". If you put them into a stud, that's 1-1/2" into the stud. PLENTY!Hooks fall off - Seriously again? They snap onto the track. I can't see these falling off unless they were improperly installed in the first place.Hooks slide on track - Kinda. If you lift straight up and place the bike on the hook gently, they don't move. However, I am 6' tall so I can more easily reach the height to do so. If I were shorter or not as strong, I can see them moving. For the two end hooks, we installed cable ties around the track to either side of the hook and this holds them in place nicely.Height from floor - We took another reviewer's recommendation of hanging the track 8' from the floor. As stated above, we are tall so this is not an issue for us. There is about 3' of clearance under the tires, so it could be slightly lower, but having it at this height allows for some items to be stored underneath, like our trailer.All-in-all, we highly recommend this rack. It is compact, yet very sturdy and gets the job done easily and inexpensively. We could not have built a rack for the same price.

Quick and easy set up. I used a piece of wood (1/2 inch thick) behind the brackets so that the bikes hung straight.

Dude. Your garage is a mess. Let's fix it. First, you have too many bikes. You need something that will hold your bikes up, off the ground, against the wall in a relatively small space and this my friend, is a good solution. Hey! Its not perfect - but it should work well when properly installed.I purchased two of these 6 bike racks to hang 6 bikes in my tiny townhouse two car garage. Prior to purchase, I researched several possible solutions and for my situation, I felt the Monkey Bar system was the best value at its price-point for hanging 6 adult sized 29'er mountain bikes in a relatively small space. My search criteria was based on the following priorities:1.) Budget = $200 or less2.) Strength & Reliability3.) Fit (using the least space possible.)4.) Time - installation taking very little time.I also purchased and hung a 10' 2x6 across the wall at a height of approximately 6.5' to ensure the racks could be mounted securely anywhere along the 2x6 while distributing weight evenly across the entire wall. I used 3" deck screws to mount the 2x6 to the studs. With two racks side by side, the entire length required along the wall is about 102". I left some extra space between the racks so my installation is about 104" in length.I also had to ensure the bikes or hardware would not come contact or interfere with my garage door, track or sensors. I installed the racks to the 2x6 using the included hardware. This seemed tricky at first but was surprisingly simple to do. The rack bars sit about 6 inches below the garage door track. Fully loaded with bikes, the Monkey Bar racks and bike tires easily clear the garage door when it operates. However, I did have to move one rack as part of the door did make contact with the edge of the rack mount and bar as it open and shut. This was at the point where the garage door track curves. Make sure you have proper clearance before operating your door! Moving the Monkey Bars installation point was easy because of the 2x6. I did not have to rely on mounting to studs at 16 inch intervals.So... If one rack holds 6 bikes, why did I buy two? Many other reviewers mention that the 6 bike rack seemed crowded - with less than 6 bikes! If you have some combination like 4 adult bikes and two kids bikes, maybe you can get 6 bikes on one rack. But 6 same sized/similar sized bikes is too much. For me, two racks gives me plenty of space and options as I can easily move bikes around to get to other bikes. It also ensures the bikes don't get damaged as I wrestle them apart to go for a ride. With two racks I can also easily add to my bike collection (What? I like bikes!) or hang extra bikes as needed. What's not to like? This: Each bar has two spring loaded "buttons" which help keep the rack in place. During installation, one of the buttons easily slipped out of position and wedged itself inside the bar. Nice. It took me a few minutes to fix. I fished the button back into position using a small flat blade screw driver and a lot of foul language. (It works fine now but could have been a show stopper for someone less determined.) It could happen again so, 1 star deducted.Customization: A few reviewers complained about the movement of the hooks when attempting to hang bikes on the rack. I plan to use zip-ties or maybe even a set screw if this becomes a problem. I see why people feel this might be a problem but I haven't experienced it yet. Until then, don't fix what ain't broke.

I gave this item 5 stars for the following reasons. Even the negatives stated below were not worth a star deduction.1. I am Amazon Prime member. Ordered on Thursday and expected delivery on Saturday. It actually arrived on Friday.2. I was able to install the item in the advertised 15 minutes without rushing.3. I was able to hang 6 bikes with no problem as long as you alternate the direction of the bikes.4. Quality was fine. Nice powder coat finish.5. The hangers move whenever you hang a bike. This is no biggie. Once I finally decide where I want them permanently, I will use some sort of clamping system to prevent movement. A zip tie may even work.6 I would not hang a high end road bike with light weight wheels from this rack as I do not like the pressure the hangers put on the wheels. The angle just makes me feel uncomfortable.7. Be careful when deciding on the height. I put the bar 8 feet off the ground. I can hang the bikes easily at that height and I can still put something under them (including the front end of a car; not an SUV).8. It could be a small challenge to get the middle bikes if you hang 6 bikes. Easy to access all the bikes if you only hang 4 bikes. The actual bar length is 51" but only 48" are usable. An extra foot would have been nice, even 6".So there you have it in a nutshell.
