I live in Fl,where during the summers it's brutally hot. I bought this for my lil 4 legged friend and put it on her before going to beach in the summer,it worked amazing.Highley recommended. Only issue is the size and usage.Recommend getting the larger size if available.

We have a red nose pittie and he gets sunburnt on his white nose and ears sometimes. When we went to the river this past weekend I knew I needed to figure something out if he'll be in the sun all day, so I tried this product and it did NOT disappoint! He stayed safe from the sun with this balm, and he loves the taste of it too so it doesn't bother him! I do not recommend letting your dog eat the balm, but if they get a little lick of their nose its not repulsive for them. I rub his snout and his ears every couple hours and no sunburn or irritation! A little does go a long way which makes the product last longer too so I love it!

Hah, flavor was one of the possible ratings. I gave that a high rating along with all the rest, haven't tried it personally but the dogs have to be told not to helpfully remove it from the one who needs it so.... :D For this and other obvious reasons, ingredients are so very important! Very good information available on this product, and non-toxic. Unlike non-canine products!!I've purchased a few tubs of this over the last few years, it's simple to apply and I can visibly see that it helps. Our terrier-ish mix has a thick coat everywhere but the bridge of her nose. There's a spot where hair is almost non-existent, white but visibly pinks up in the sun now that she's older. Stays unchanged in color with the application of this great cream. She knows the routine, present the nose politely = charging out into the yard. Not before the kisses the instructions say to end with lol, kind of cool feeling like they love my pooches too

This stuff really works - I used it or aquaphor every day, as well as lightly exfoliating my dog’s nose daily. It took about a month, and what a difference- thank you!

My rescue has a pink stripe down his nose, we use this when we go camping as he’s out in the sun or whenever he lies in the sun at home. It works.

I've rarely written reviews, but this item saved my dogs nose, and my money for vet bills. Over the span of a year her nose started getting dry, cracked, and bloody, even inside her nostrils. It looked super painful and would hold no moisture. I though, infection, food allergies, plant allergies, sunburn etc. None of those were the problem. I took her in where she was diagnosed with lupus, put on pills (that didn't work) and was told to lather it up with vit E (also didn't work)I finally found this and started trying it out. There wasn't a quick change like most other people. It definitely took a few months. but even not using it extremely consistently, it is healing her nose. The black moist skin grows back more everyday now, and she seems so much more comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend. The waxiness sticks to their nose and isn't easy to just lick off like a cream or oil, and a little goes a LONG way. So even with a teeny tiny bottle, it lasts longer than you would think. Worth the price! Included are before and after pics.
