Great look, price, and quality. But… it has the most horrible odor! I assumed it was the dye they used. I thought maybe after a few days it would dissipate. Nope. It makes my whole bedroom stink! I have sprayed it with everything - even vinegar. It won’t go away after 4 weeks! I just missed the return window by one week too. Bummer. I will try to make it go away after sitting it in the hot sun for a few days when it warms up. If that doesn’t work, it is going in the burn pile on my property. That’s how bad it is.

This was purchased for my guest bedroom. The material of the headboard is nice and soft and the quality is better than expected. I purchased another one for the other bed as I purchased only one initially to see if it would fit on my metal bed frame and it did the job.

The gray velvet is more of a dark gray than a light gray. Velvet is ideal if you have any cats in your home (no interest in scratching it). Headboard is good quality. Easy to assemble with all of the right parts, but I would recommend having a second person for ease and speed. I attached it to a steel queen bedframe. Looks great. Comfortable. No smell.
