It took longer to put together because the instructions were not helpful at all. But once it was finished it looks nice.

This was easy to put together, is a great size, I’d say more compact than a usual filing cabinet but still quite a fair bit of space, and looks great. The keys are good quality and so is the lock. Only thing I’d say is if someone really wanted to get into the back of it they probably could, so a metal one would be more secure, but it locks all the same and can’t complain.

This cabinet is not made as good as other cabinets on Amazon. The back panels and drawer bottoms are THIN laminate cardboard and can't hold much weight. This is disappointing, because I really like the basic design of this unit. The center shelf is NOT moveable unless you drill additional holes (which I ended up doing). But the most annoying thing with this product is that they shipped it with used scratched up wheels. Everything else looked new on the unit, but the wheels were scuffed up from use and looked nasty. I ended up replacing the wheels anyway, because the ones they shipped with were cheap and flimsy crap (in addition to being used). 14 dollars for wheels on Amazon got me wheels with bearings and much higher weight load. I highly advise upgrading the wheels if you are going to move this unit around.Be prepared to drill new holes if you choose to (and should) upgrade the wheels. Also, if you buy this cabinet, be prepared for about 3 hours plus of construction time. None of this thing was pre-assembled and there are almost 100 screws.Also, I have design gripe. The drawers are half drawers, meaning the inside of the drawer is only half the height of the drawer, the sides and back are only half height. Except for being cheap, I'm not sure why they built it like this. If you fill the drawer up to it's height, stuff can fall out the back of the drawer... yet another thing I will be modifying/fixing on this unit in the future.
