Most Affordable mini thermal printer I could find on AMZ. The only downside of this is that it’s really loud when printing and it won’t be as clear as wall plugged-in thermal printer. But, if you want the portability, you can’t get better than this. Moreover, at this price point with many extra sticker paper rolls, it’s like you have the printer for free. Great toy for kids or good essentials for journaling.

The app is extremely easy to use and the printer hooked up to it almost instantly (you do need to turn on location and nearby device permissions in the app for it to recognize it) but once you get started it's very easy to use. i had the paper facing the wrong direction at first, but once I got it in the right was I was printing stickers instantly! the stickers aren't amazing quality or anything --its basically just label paper but it's fun for personal use and prints in black and white only. I don't think I'll use the markers that came with it to color the stickers though, the ink just sort of sits on top of the shiny sticker surface and immediately rubs off if you touch it. they are juicy markers though, so if you have a young child in your life you can give them to them. The sticker on the far right is when I realized you could adjust the blackness settings in the app. Great for if you are printing black and white pages (like manga panels) and want the black lines to stand out.the printer itself is adorable, and came already with some charge in it which is a huge plus. love this little guy!

We had high hopes for this printer and my daughter was so excited to use it. We got it connected to our phone one time and was able to get a single test print. After that it wouldn't connect anymore. We tried everything possible and nothing worked.

My wife was looking for a sticker printer to my use for labeling her journals, and though these smaller units are geared more towards kids with the monochrome output and cute artwork, there's a ton of productivity and organizational options built in - and the ability to print your own designs in seconds makes this practical and fun for everyone in the house! The printer uses USB C, and connects easily through Bluetooth; theres a roll of regular thermal paper installed already, and there are plenty of rolls of plain and colored sticker paper - as well as another regular roll - that will give you hundreds of prints. The app is hit or miss in terms of the pre-made designs, with some being multi color that will of course be grayscale and harder to see if printed, and some out of date calendar and holiday choices. Some categories have a mixture of clip art style images that look like they were grabbed off a Google search, and there's also the built in generator for turning your pictures into cartoon and painted versions (also with mixed results).Being able to print your own designs makes this far more useful, and you can also adjust the black level, which increases the print time slightly by extending the thermal print head contact. For regular text and lines, you can still see fine even on the lightest setting, but pictures are a bit harder to make out unless somewhere in the middle. The included markers aren't the best, and seem more for kids to use with their stickers, but do work well enough to keep them entertained. You can also adjust the size of print outs for things like labels, and generate QR codes for notes and links. One downside to the printer is inherent to the medium itself: thermal paper is sensitive to temperature changes even after printing, so putting somewhere close to a heat source or in direct sunlight will eventually black out the entire thing. Anyone who's ever had a receipt come through the dryer will be familiar enough with this, but I figured it was worth mentioning so your kids favorite sticker doesn't get ruined being left in a hot car. Finding refills can also be a bit tricky, but luckily they used a standard size spool with refills found linked on the same listing. That aside, this is a practical and fun little printer for making your own designs and printing things found online easily, and can be used even after your kids get bored with it - if you didn't buy it to use yourself to begin with!

You get lots of "stuff" with this printer, including several refills for the thermal paper. If you were curious, there is no ink in the way you think of a normal printer. The magic occurs with the paper itself, so don't plan on using regular paper - you will need thermal paper that is the right size for this device. You all receive some toy-type markers made for very small hands.Overall, the setup wasn't too bad but I was a bit leery downloading the app as the text in the app store was littered with Chinese characters, letting you know where it was developed. A prime example of my security concern was when I chose to print a photo. I gave access to that one picture on my phone but the app requested a second time to have access to all my pictures. Buyer beware on this one.The app itself is a bit quirky. I eventually connected to the device but it took turning off the printer and turning it back on for the connection to succeed. After that, printing was fairly seamless but the app itself really is more of a novelty. You can print things like to-do lists, etc. but you have to type all of that into the app. There is no way to import from notes or anything else. Most of the things you can print are cutesy type figures or drawings. I really can't think of a useful thing to print from the options but I supposed that a young kid might have a few hours of fun printing things.
