I admire the mind behind this device. It is made with precision, what appears to be laser cutting to make beautiful custom fit of tank & charger, & works very reliably. If it doesn't turn on you probably need to recharge, as the battery is small, & probably best for safety if left turned on for long by accident. Works very much like a vape mod, so you have to be easy on the coil & use sparingly so it doesn't over heat. I would encourage the designer to see if he/she could attempt to make the interior wires & components take up about 1/2 of the space they currently do into even a smaller box, my personal project would appreciate that. This is very good quality, & love the remote idea which again, is a salute to the mind of the innovator.

I think the intended use for this device is kind of silly.Pictures? nawParties? Lame!Fixing drafts in your house? HELL YEAHThis thing works perfectly for even finding small drafts in the house to seal up. The smoke is perfect consistency - not too heavy, but not too wispy. My home has a lot of drafts, so I've been going around with this device to find them and seal them up. You can watch the drafts blow the fog right at the nozzle head. If you're a DIYer and are having a hard time finding drafts, this is the ticket.

The instructions were easy to follow and I love that the device is charged, not plug-in or batteries. I use this for leak testing for windows and doors and the ability to set this in small areas or not need much weight to support is super useful. The remote is reliable and makes life for the tester much easier. And the amount of smoke produced so quickly by this little machine is huge! Don't test it in a room with active smoke-detectors! It can set them off if you don't have good air circulation around the detector(s). I'm glad to have this added to my tool kit.

The remote on and off was very responsive. SmokePlume looked good and I got plenty of shots out of the small vial & single charge. Very pleased. Uses it for smoke from my Halloween genie’s lantern.
