Milwaukee tools are great, everyone knows that. But this seller upgraded the batteries that came in the kit! Couldn't ask for more.

I didn't like having to purchase a "kit", as I don't need the case this comes with. And, the smaller Milwaukee batteries just add to our array of different battery chargers. However, I never got to test the tool because the charger was defective. On holding the tool I wasn't so sure I would like the trigger mechanism. But this die grinder would be much lighter and easier than the Makita die grinder I just bought. So, I gave this tool 2 stars based on my guess less the BIG problem: Returning the tool for a refund due to the defective charger. The company selling it claims free delivery, but we ended up paying $28 for the return. That made the entire experience unacceptable.

These tools hold up well on the shop floor and don't make much noise. We've had some running every day for about two years now and there's little sign of wear to them. The batteries are the only downside with the M12 units. The larger physical ones split if dropped even a short distance so we have to wrap them up in zip ties. The 3.0 Ah compact batteries we had don't charge anymore after a few months of use, so I don't recommend them but the other sizes we've tried all work. That just applies to the M12 batteries, though, and should not go against this tool itself. It is great! The seller that provided this product was also awesome!
