Solid little demitasse spoon meant for espresso cups. Well made 18/10 ss solid handle. Heavy duty and ribbed and column like handle. Very pretty to look at and a delight to hold. They also have seafood forks and individual butter knives in the same pattern. I plan to expand my set to include these 3 crucial pieces. More often than not , one will be used with the other.

Love these long iced tea spoons. I have several sets. Well made and a pattern that goes with most any stainless pattern. Substantial, nice quality ! I’ve had for years and recently purchased two more sets. I use these everyday, and they look like new.

I purchased 4 serving sets.The serving spoons don't look like the photo, which is good for me because I wasn't fond of the pear shape represented. The spoons are more of an oblong symmetrical oval. Very nice weight and feel. While aesthetically pleasing they also have a very nice functional design.. The forks tines are very sharp. You will be impressed when you use this set.

This silverware is another perfect compliment to the Italian Countryside dish set. I have the dinnerware, several serveware pieces and stemware and I absolutely love it all! The flatware is sturdy and cleans up easily with soap and warm water. I will probably have this pattern forever.

These Demitasse Spoons from Mikasa in the Italian Countryside collection are lovely, but very petite. They match our existing set perfectly, and were something we were missing and we wanted to complete the set for the holidays. Additionally, I've found they make wonderful baby spoons, or utility spoons to scoop from tiny containers. Even though a man with large hands will feel like an ogre if he tries to use one for dessert, I've found myself using these spoons for that, they're just so cute!

beautiful little spoons..this is just one of the additional grouping added to my Italian Countryside set... basically used for coffee ..but honestly they would be fine as a small dessert spoon (ie Sherbert, Sorbet, IceCream, Moose...etc
