It sure is nice to have a meal after a long days hike and it's nice to have a cup and bowl to eat some soup from instead of eating cold processed food from a wrapper. These utensils collapse so they don't take much room up in your pack. The silicone material is very lite weight too.

I was surprised by how good this set is.The bowls have a lot of form and I'm not worried abou them collapsing. The smaller bowl with lid and folding spork fit nicely in the collapsed larger bowl with lid so you end up with a nice compact disc that's about 1" thick. Both lids have lanyards. The lids snap on tight, but I'm not sure I would trust connecting a carabiner to it. (You would need to replace the lanyards with something shorter or directly connect the carabiner to the lid if you wanted to go that route anyway.)In short, I'm impressed by the quality and design.

I don't think I would rely on this set for a lot of things, it takes some getting used to putting the lid on so the bowl doesn't collapse. Practice putting the lid on before you use it for real and you should be ok. I think it's very handy to have in a backpack or car for camping, picnics, and emergencies.

Pros: Sturdy ring around the bowl gives you something strong to hold onto, pack flatCons: Cup is a little unstable, but that's to be expectedOverall: it's hard to mess these up. They're a great item that any camper should have, as well as anyone with a dog, for that matter! Useful, economical, better than taking paper plates camping. Would recommend!

This bowl is excellent. Doesn't crumple when you use it, and it's very steady. You won't tip it over. If there are any leftovers, the lid is right there! The bowl is too narrow at the bottom, and also the folding rings are small enough that it feels like it will collapse. However, I still think it will work OK with the tabs that stabilize the bottom, and recommend this purchase.

I got this set for camping, and I think it will be top notch for that. I'm a huge fan of silicone snapware in the form of camping buckets, and this is a similar thing. I am on the fence about the little fabric lanyards, but I understand that they're useful for some to keep track of the lid.My only regret is a person one. I recently took this set on a road trip, and it was only after I arrived at my first hotel that I realized that the metal rings around the top prevented me from using it in the microwave. Duh! That's 100% on me. Just mentioning it in case it helps anyone else with their use case.Solid construction. No smell.Side note: I really like the folding Spork a lot even though it kinda has a little bit of sharpness of metal around the "hinge" area. (My mom is a retired lunchroom lady and she got a kick out of it too. I think we both like it for sentimental reasons.)No complaints. Five stars.

It's a fairly typical collapsible silicone cup and bowl. They both come with a lid, but if you've got something inside either one, putting the lid on is a bit problematic. Trying to get the lid to snap on tight without collapsing whichever one you're trying to put it on takes some work, and isn't easy. The bowl holds approximately 2.25 cups (550ml), and the cup about 7 ounces (~200ml). They collapse easily enough, and open easily as well. The one thing to know about the cup is that although it holds some really hot liquid, you can't hold onto it by the body of the cup if that hot liquid fills the cup. So, you have to hold it by the very top rim, or not fill it all the way up.One very useful thing, is that both the cup and bowl have small feet to help stabilize them when expanded. And I can say, they do help to keep the vessel from tipping over. And one of the feet (on both cup and bowl) has a small hole that looks large enough for a small carabiner so you can attach it to a bag, or even your belt. The spork is simple metal. It looks like stainless, but it's not marked as such so I can't verify that it is. It folds open and closed easily, and there's a slider that can lock it open, but if you slide it all the way up to the back of the spoon, it takes some effort to get it to slide back in order to close the spork up again. Both the cup and the spork fit inside the bowl once both are collapsed.I have no problem recommending this set if you're looking for a small set for outdoors activities.
