Quite warm. It surprised me however how much buoyancy the shirt/pants combo has. In Cozumel, seemed to take between 2-3 pounds extra lead as compared to the polartek it is intended to replace. Shirt seems to be cut just a little funny. I'm big but it just seemed to bind a little under the arms and around to the chest. Anyway, it didn't bother me ALL that much and it definitely did keep me as warm as my polartek.
