Fidestisan-We have referred to some literature and samples of medieval swords, and after research, we have made some improvements to the medieval swords. The handle of medieval sword is fixed and can't be dismantled, but it is inevitable that people will loosen it during use, which makes it impossible to repair, so we improved the fixing method of the handle, nail+thread+threaded sheath fixing method, which will make it easier for beginners to maintain it. We use 5160 spring steel, and the edge is obtained by forging and then oil quenching treatment, so you do not have to worry about its toughness, generally it can be bent to 60 ° without deformation. The hardness distribution is basically around 50-55Hrc when tested by a hardness tester. This means that it can pass through some wood products.Scabbard uses grade A synthetic leather which is more wear-resistant. Outstanding design, good weight distribution, no problem to choose it!

Incredible for the price! It came sharp, can cut pumpkins and melons without any difficulty. I won't be using it for harder materials right now so I can't say if it holds up to standard use, but for a simple, functional design without any noticeable issues, I haven't found a better one yet!

Great quality and the length is perfect. The weight makes it easy to use and is very well balanced. The handle is comfortable to hold and move around.

Exactly how it looks in the pictures and you can tell it's quality when you hold it. Can't praise this product highly enough

I was slightly hesitant to order this but I am so glad that I did! This sword is a great buy if you are after a solidly made sword on a budget. The hilt feels solid and strong with no rattle and the guard is centered and straight. The grind edge is nice and sharp and the balance feels pretty good. The sheath fits nice and tight but doesn't get stuck, the perfect combination! All of the finishes are nice and even besides the bottom sheath cap being painted metal but I just sanded it down to metal to match the rest of the fittings. I really can't emphasize how pleasantly surprised I was of the quality for the price.

The sword does not fully enter the scabbard. It gets stuck with about two inches of blade still exposed. The sword is otherwise of great quality. I attempted to get in contact with the seller for a replacement, but was not able to. I will gladly change my review if this is solved.

Edit: The maker of the sword reached out to me about the build issue and is working on a solution. Despite the issue with the pommel this is a very nicely built sword and the scabbard fitment is exceptional. Most swords at this price point have floppy scabbards the sword will not stay in. I would MUCH rather have a snug fit than the sword sliding out randomly. This looks amazing, is made from actual blade steel and is incredibly well balanced and light given its proportions. Even with the slight problem the pommel (which really isn't an issue unless you take it apart) this is a great value given it's price.Original review: The scabbard is extremely nice. Had fitment issues like others but just working the blade in and out dials it right in, you really don't want it loose. The pommel on the other hand is unforgiveable. Almost all low end swords have a hidden tang with a welded rod to retain the grip and pommel. This thing is a rod fed into a helicoil held with glue. I wish they had a better answer because everything else is awesome. Nice flex to the blade, not sure if it will hold up to any abuse, but it looks incredibly good as an ornament. Extremely good looking in person just fix that pommel!

Excellent weapon. Blade is balanced and sharp. Scabbard is basic but hey it’s also functional. Well made and I am satisfied with this purchase

This sword is perfect for its intended purpose--part of a medieval cosplay with live steel--and may in fact be perfect for actual swordplay. It is light, flexible, impeccably balanced, and easily as sharp as a freshly honed chef's knife. Oily, obviously, like any other new blade, but wrapped in plastic to protect against dings and rust. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE THE WRAP FROM THE BLADE BAREHANDED. It's hard to feel the edge through the plastic but I imagine a few more pounds of pressure would've laid open the wrap and my palm like a carved ham.My only complaint is a minor one that's easily rectified: the leather scabbard is a good deal closer to maroonish-purple than the brown pictured in the images but a little leather dye will take care of that. The blade's flexibility may be somewhat ahistorical since longswords were typically stiff for the purpose of penetrating armor, but that's hardly a thing to complain about in the year of our Lord 2024.
