Smells like a rubber tire. Pretty solid and works fine sealing my flasks. Just make sure to measure correctly. You want your surface to seal about halfway up on the stopper.

Got plug for fountain. Had to make a slit for pump cord but fits snug enough it doesn’t leak.

It was too small sadly for the purpose. i thought it would just fit nicely but read the dimensions wrong.Shame you dont make them bigger.

I had to cut a slit, and drill the hole a little bigger to accommodate the cord to the pump, but water is staying inside the fountain! Perfect.

Needed this to replace a plug that allowed breathing for collected vapors in a lawnmower gas tank. Squirrels ? Hewed up the tank and gas cap. I replaced with a spare tank but had trouble finding a Cap. This worked!
