After years of valiant service, my Marantz floor speakers appeared to be destine for the dump. The surround on my 12" woofers completely dry rotted and was falling to pieces making the speaker really not usable. Before tossing them, I considered fully replacing the woofers before finding these replacement surrounds and decided to give it the old college try to repair versus replace. Honestly, it was a really easy process for anyone with even limited repair skills. Watch the video... take your time... and it's almost fail proof. Within a few hours, I was pumping great old school tunes on my ages old Yahama tuner... completely happy with the salvation of my Marantz 3-ways!

what a great product, my marantz speakers were shot due to the foam dry rotted and fell out, i seen these new kits and then watched video to see if it was a pain to do. i ordered and installed, they worked great! speakers look and sound like new, i highly recommend . the company is very customer friendly and helpful.i will purchase again if my other speakers fall apart

I'm not a finish man, i.e. I'm not all that precise in placement of paint or glue, etc. So, most might say I did a sloppy job with the cement when I installed the rings. However, my Marantz speakers haven't sounded this good in many years, so I guess I did well enough. I was marginally shy of adequate glue but would not be quite so liberal with glue application if I had it to do again. Bottom line: The kits did the job, restored my speakers to like-new sound at a fraction of replacement costs. Highly recommend this product!

...after repairing them with new foam surrounds from Simply Speakers. Don't hesitate, you can repair your rotten surrounds with new ones from Simply Speakers (or fix the ones you found at a garage sale, thrift store, etc.).C'mon, reuse, recycle, put some nice looking wood (or simulated wood) speakers in your bedroom or living room...It can make ahouse feel like a home.
