This offset mount showcases Magpul's attention to detail and robust engineering. The aluminum construction provides excellent rigidity while keeping weight minimal. The M-LOK attachment is rock-solid when properly torqued, with zero play or movement even under heavy use. The black anodizing is uniform and durable, resisting wear from mounting and dismounting. The offset design offers valuable flexibility for light or optic placement, helping to prevent interference with other accessories while maintaining a streamlined profile. Installation is straightforward with clear markings for proper alignment. The Picatinny rail section is precisely machined, providing secure attachment for compatible accessories with no slop or fitment issues. The mount maintains zero reliably, important for both lights and auxiliary optics. The included hardware is high quality, and the mounting points are properly reinforced to handle recoil forces. While compact, there's adequate space to allow for cable management when mounting lights. One consideration is that the fixed offset angle may not suit every setup - measure your specific needs before purchase. The price reflects the quality of materials and manufacturing, but it's justified by the mount's durability and precision. For anyone needing a reliable offset mounting solution, this Magpul offering provides excellent value and performance.

Great quality, and most importantly, perfect for mounting a light on the front of a S&W 1852. I couldn't find any information on what M-lok mounts would work well on this rifle so here you go... this one (the aluminum version) is perfect! I use it with a Streamlight Pro-tac light. I was going to mount the light directly to the Magpul mount, which would have worked perfect, but ended up using the picatinny attachment on the light instead so I can easily attach or remove the light. It looks much cleaner mounted directly, but practicality won out for me. It's a perfect mount either way. There is very little shadow from the barrel since this raises the light height just over the height of the barrel.

There are plenty of "knock-off" companies who make similar items for much cheaper, but when it comes to mounting a light or other device that you might have to trust your life to, it's worth a few extra bucks to get top tier quality. The locking nuts are included and are very robust compared to cheaper items intended for the "airsoft" market. The mount itself is extremely tough and rigid and will last the rest of your life, your children's life, and probably a few sets of grandchildren too, so "buy once, cry once" and move on!

I want to like every product I buy as it makes me feel like a smart consumer.I like the offset piece it is sturdy and holds my HL-X at 11 o'clock, snuggly. I am not using my pressure pad yet. BUT it comes with two sets of screws a short set and a long set. I didn't have the right tool for the short so used the long set and it was locked in solid. When I got the tool for the short screws, I tried using those, DON'T DO THIS! Stick with the long screws, the short screws weren't solidly locking in and there was a little bit of movement. Not sure why they even bother with the short screws if they are this bad.If it came with just the long screws I would have given it 5 stars. Wasted a lot of time and effort going back and forth trying to make the short ones work. Also, like another reviewer said we are paying a premium for the name brand.

I bought the aluminum version to give me one more notch forward than the plastic version.Running it with an Inforce WMLx. Fits great on a Midwest Industries combat rail.If you've got a thick a** barrel like the beowulf (12" barrel & 9.5" rail), then the normal screws are a bit too long and will contact/push the gas block. Luckily magpul includes a set of smaller screws that I believe were intended for you to hook into a surefire with. Used those as the m-lok screws instead and it fits great! Also. With the WMLx, attach the light to rail first, then rail to gun. Fits best that way as the WMLx is a hair too wide to be an absolute perfect fit.

I got this to mount my Inforce WML (1 cell version) to my 10.5 MLOK handguard. I really wanted something with a very small footprint. Instead of getting an MLOK section of picatinny, I really like how this put the light at a comfortable position in relation to my support hand, as I use a c-clamp grip often. This was my first experience using MLOK and it was challenging to figure out, but once I watched some videos and got the proper tools I was sold. Once properly mounted, it's solid and NOT coming off. I went on to purchase the MLOK VFG. I could not be happier with this offset mount.
